  1. Yup, even Enterprise. My high school has a license for Enterprise. Got to install Vista for the first time while I was working there this summer. Kind of a pain to activate though, IMO...
  2. I used to use a trackball, but it got dirty so fast... Switched to a wireless optical mouse...
  3. It's an OEM license.
  4. Whoa, just came across this thread... Guys, if you haven't discovered Craigslist, Kijiji, or Facebook's Marketplace, I highly suggest looking into them. Just the other day, I picked up a refurbished DSL modem for $20 and it works great! I've even come across people giving away stuff for free (computers as an example). I've been picking these up, fixing them up (upgrading mostly), and reselling them for $30-$40 a pop. I've made over $400 just this month selling old stuff I have no use for.
  5. I figured you'd say that! But then again, I really don't care about performace or noise in the systems that they're in... As long as they can store data, and if they die on me, I really don't care anyway...
  6. I've got to say, between the two different types of drives I have in my system, the Seagates win (by far) in terms of noise level. I own three Seagate ST3250620A drives and three Western Digital WD2500JB drives. The WDs I have are pretty loud compared to the Seagates. Also, contrary to what Zxian mentioned about the WDs he has, the Seagates seem to stay much cooler than the WDs I have (but that might just be model-specific). Another advantage to the Seagate drives is that they come with a five year warranty!
  7. Sorry, Arkhangel, but we cannot discuss anything about TinyXP here at MSFN. [ Closed. ]
  8. bober's right. You need to open up the correct ports for the games you are playing. Do you mind telling us what model router you have so that we can tell you how to proceed?
  9. Ah... I love my Mac. I can just right-click the video and choose to download the .flv file!
  10. Did you do an upgrade from XP to Vista Ultimate or did you do a fresh install?
