http://bleddyn.co.uk/creations/robocopyGUI.7z extract 4 files to X:\Windows\System32 folder.. if your windir is not C:\ then edit the ini file to show the drive letter you need.. to launch it, simply Start, Run, robo select source and desitation paths, will only copy files that are newer or have been modified if you want to load it into a batch file, just cmd, then robocopy /? and it'll tell you the swicthes enjoy!

i use folder sharing all the time and have a pretty heavily stripped down xp.. what the hell? making unattended switchless installers broadens your knowledge far more than clicking next next next ok, finish. all computer companies (that know what they're doing) will use silent installers -usually msi's have you ever used nlite? boot times decrease, speed of user interactivity increases, and you can install xp on any dog old pc that it shouldn't really be able to run on, and they become perfect for web browsing / mp3 boxes, i've got a pii333 that i use just for this now just give it a shot before ruling it out completely Wuts wrong with system restore, backup software is only useful if you make a backup. System restore automatically backups up the files. Yes, i do hate it sometimes it doesnt work. But when and if it does it makes things much easier. whats right with system restore more like!? its a nice concept, but now viruses and spyware hide in system restore, so if you don't know to disable it, you can never get rid of any malware. its constantly running using up resources and hard drive space. microsoft should seriously ditch system restore, and keep ONLY the driver rollback part, not that i've used it for about 3 years, but that part does have its benefits as for making backups of needed files? -robocopy is a freeware tool made by microsoft that is perfect for most people

try all the above first then install "Windows Defender" and see if it finds any crap on your system

hell yeah not too keen on the new 7zip icons imo, just need to have 3d open folder, with tidy box with the type of fileletter (small box) maybe have them set like the 7z one (3d folder) but an icon like the .iso file, but sleeker keep up the good work

@bledd Thats the problem, I don't want to install extensions that are not going to be useful, if I dont use ebay I don't want ebaynegs or if I have a pop3 mail account I dont need the webmail, hotmail and gmail extensions, and I dont want to have other folks searchplugins. what??????? it only installs extentions that you tell it to just try it out, it is what you're looking for

once the setup has run, it should be in C:\program files\razer you could try installling 7zip and then right clicking the file and pressing extract..

just create them to existing files, then copy all your shortcuts into a 7z file and extract them in your installation

are they in folders, or in a zip or rar in folders? if first, use the above advice, if not then when extracting, untick 'use subfolders' or whatever it says!

mate, just use silence of the foxes then add your own tweaks if you want after.. like shortcuts etc.. sof does it really well, and it sets the extentions for all users

slim.. try renaming the msi to something like oodefrag.msi

just use imgburn ffs! if you let it take assosiations this is all you need to do.. right click iso file in windows explorer, burn with imgburn, click burn button, DONE!

ok i've got a legal oem copy of mce that i installed on my athlon64 machine, but now i wanna put my athlonxp chip + motherboard in there because it really doesn't need all that power so i can replace my desktop pc can have the 64bit cpu in my main pc instead from what i've read, you're only really supposed to have 1 pc per oem licence, am i able to transfer the license by ringing microsoft? or will i have to make up a story and say "my current mobo has broken, so i'm replacing it with this other one etc" will be using linux on the 64bit, so only need to transfer the mce licence.. any help appreciated!
