  3. also, in the description for the SENS Service it says it could give the same issue, -weird icon tray for network will look like its aquiring address even if not on dhcp start over mate

    rick i pm'd you that R64 icon you wanted, doing this bitmap editing in photoshop now its quite easy if you just stick to it and save as psd files to, so you can use templates for each bitmap

    started making a winamp skin (well modding LE5_Blue) to fit your colour scheme will post it in here ?
  6. http://bleddyn.co.uk/forums/msfn/7zsfxmaker.7z extract that to say C:\7zmaker or something put your installation files into one 7z file the config.txt file has the line "Installer.exe", you can edit this to installer.bat or whatever if you use a bat file to install with place your 7z file in the 7zmaker directory, then double click the bat file in the 7zmaker folder, this will make the exe for you and call it done.exe, this is now ready to have its icon change via reshack, and you can manually rename the exe

  9. i don't have 98 mate, and def don't want to install it, not sure how the registry works in 98 either, but if you open up 7zfm, tools, options, select all, ok it'll do what the reg file does
  10. i'd imagine so, xp's so cheap now there's no excuse to not have a legal copy
  11. yeah i've been wanting to for a while i've moved into new flat, and today my desk arrived, so i can see the screen properly will soon add a b icon, think i'm going to trash the repackaged installer thing and just have the to run
  12. oh sorry thats just the way i type, i should have said "the way i install mine is from the OEM folders" i always put a "-" in to explain things -like this!

  16. if you download normal 7zip, and my pack, then just double click the 'icons' file and it'll patch your installed 7zip..

  18. i eventually changed to a tft last year, got one of the xerox screens, 8ms, was about £300 though (a lot of dollars ), dead happy with it, and the weight and the desk space! but an expensive crt would still take my fancy as said above the gfx cards come with vga-> dvi adaptors otherwise they're a couple of dollars anyway
  19. winamp for audio and mpc for video (and dvd) they can both run as standalone apps, and can be easily assosiated with their tyoes also, they're tiny!

    my old 33mhz 486 came w/o a heatsink as standard, when i upgraded to a 66mhz, i didn't put a hs on it (didn't know they existed, lol) and i really burnt my finger when taking it back out!
