No but i recently i mean a week ago i bought a 17" Samsung SyncMaster 171s http://www.a2zcomputerproducts.com/Product.../SMG/SM171STFTS I am extremely happy with this monitor I use the resolution of 1280 x 1024 and its crystal clear... Lovely monitor Im sure that this will be a good monitor, looks fine to me, make sure you get the drivers with it though, thats the only thing i would suggest.
Ahhhhh, sorted it all out now For some reason my CS was running on Software mode So changed that to hardware and bob's ya uncle i get 60fps and no lag and its even better on my new monitor!! Cheers FthrJack for ya help... My desktop is at 1280 x 1024 if ya want to know. CS runs smooth now I would have replied earlier but been on holiday
I play Counter-Strike quite a bit. Lately i have been getting lag, not so much lag but frames and i mean they can reach 2-8 fps. I get them if theres alot of fire or action, but i can even get them if im running on my own somewhere. Now this makes it unplayable. When playing and not getting frames i get about 20-35fps (to me this seems a bit low...) for my GeForce3 Ti200 (now this aint a crap GPU, i know theres better but this is a good one in my eyes). I am using the drivers that XP gave me (from: Microsoft Windows Hardware Compatibility Publisher) and these drivers give me no problems with any other game. Its not my connection either, i get around 50-30ms in the games and play on UK servers (own country). You guys know my specs and they should easily take CS and run it smoothly...!!
Oooooo, lets have an Auction!! Do i have £10, £10 from the lady in red, thank you Blackwar, £15, £15 anywhere?! I got £15 from the young man pia £20, the man in the corner, FthrJack, £20... Going once, twice, sold to the gentleman in the corner.
Wow, thats a bit scary... *Updates Nortan ASAP* Hmmm, you look at the e-mail that was sent... Got a Microsoft IP address They shouldnt be letting that out, lol. Propabnly protected by 500 firewalls, lol, both hardware and the software kind, lol.
'An error occurred processing this page. The error has been recorded and I'll be checking into it. Sorry about this, Dave' Obviously "Dave" has removed this article, lol.
Hmmm, i checked the Iomega website http://www.iomega.com/europe/support/english/# and couldnt find your model... There are problems with converting it to XP and there is a few things you can do with that. (Is your drive Internal or external). FthrJack you think its the software?! Personally i doubt that but you might be right
Yeah, well i have Norton Antivirus 2002 so i dont think i will have a problem. And i wont get a trojan as i wont open the e-mails that i know have got one in, lol. Alright, i just wanted to make sure as i noticed i didnt really have much knowledge about the firewall itself so thought i'd ask. Cheers guys.
