Oooo, so has this bloke forgot about us or still wants help? Anyways, Cubase... If i remember correctly isnt Cubase a database program? Dual boot is what its called. You need to make another partition to make your 2000 in and install to that. Partitions is not my strong point but im sure one of the other guys will help ya Partion Magic is the program you want i think.
Thanks guys for this. Anyway, to elt you know it all went smoothly apart from when there was an error reading a file But i started again and worked fine. Thanks again
Yup, looked into the problemo and it seems its propably drivers. Its a bugger with drivers if ya got a problem with running games, having to keep chaing them to play
Thats phat My added feature The MSFN words with the characters around it, can i change? he he. I think it would look better like: [:- M S F N -:] Something like that maybe. I make peoples names for msn and i like the characters, anyways just a suggestion but at the moment it looks nice
Have you reinstalled the game?! If you have try this: 1. Uninstall every file (may need to delete some like player profiles). Then shut down comp, restart then do a fresh install. 2. Had any problems with games because of your dual boot? Try not booting up ME or XP whatever one and install then. Gl.
You need to diable the touch pad. Should be in Control Panel with the mouse settings and then just disable it (if you have a Sony laptop it will be in your task tray). If your external mouse cam e with software it should have already done this... This should fix the problem though...
I used to have ISDN before my DSL... Quite good actually ISDN works by pumping out more packets and they are digitally encoded (me thinks) and so they travel faster through the telephone cables. PLus for me it ran through the same ISP but only at 64k (same price for 56k modem) but if i wanted 128k i had to pay extra (price of a phone call). ISDN was good but no way near as good as DSL DSL all the way!! It does beat cable...
Hmmmm, i think that BT is the most stable and reliable ISP (although i have had few problems ) in the UK. I dont think that cable really compares to DSL, DSL is far better, cable's speed can vary whilst DSL keeps its speed. Goooooo DSL
Okey, well everything looks alright from here, just waiting for the CD now. Just wanted to ask another question: When i boot up from Win XP Pro CD will it ask me to format C:? To get rid of Win 98? Or shall i remove (format) C: to get rid of Win before i put the Win XP Pro CD in?
As some of you guys know i have had big problems with one of my comps (Win 98, Grrrrr) but after a bit of convincing i am going to get Win Xp Pro for that comp. The comp i am on now is Win XP Home. Does anyone see any problems occuring here?! They will be networked with Printers and internet and file transfer etc. Will the Xp Pro be the administrator?! Cheers, Flash.
02 is a British cellphone Co. they have now taken over B.T.(British Telecom) They havent taken over British Telecom (B.T) they have taken over BTCellnet which deals in mobile (cellphone) stuff. No-one could take over BT themself's, they are too big. Sometimes they suck, but they are also my DSL ISP and they do a good job in that department apart from now when the black hole has hit the UK
