  1. ps ...but i believe, most of those 364 are actually the features & not packages? if you run the /get-packages command after removing with the batch file, theres not many packages left?
  2. when i ran the install wim tweak, it was showing 264 or so with 7201 & now, it shows 357? with 7229 I using your mini-guide right now. The correct value is 364 packages for 7229 x86. One question: Your batch file remove 72 packages befor vLite. Is possible to remove more packages with DISM ? theres a few other packages which you can remove such as gpu pipeline, netfx, windows media player, ie8 (but not recommmended)...

  10. in vlite, under tweaks > system, did you change anything? i usually have power button=shutdown, power scheme=balanced, sleep button=do nothing...?
  11. heres hoping?! i managed to get the 32bit version to just under 3gb! that could be due to your winsxs folder increasing in size due to windows keeping backups of all the dlls that your software may have replaced?
  12. i aint that much! if i could get the install size down to under 3gb then i might think about goin 64bit! ps i think i may have it working now....? gonna do a test install...
  13. slap it in & see how it goes! normally, i just try & remove as much as i can including the snipping tool!
  14. Can anyone hook me up with the Magnification.dll please? u should be able to find that file in your original install.wim?
  15. does anyone find build 7201 slightly quicker than 7229?
  16. actually looks like the batch file does not fully work so ignore it neither does the wim tweak? will stick with 32bit testing for now.... just did another test run, looks like the batch file & tweak does seem to work but it must be run in an x64 environment?
  17. make sure you have setup.exe in the sources folder, otherwise copy the setup.exe from the sources folder in original iso to the sources folder of the vlited dvd
  18. actually looks like the batch file does not fully work so ignore it neither does the wim tweak? will stick with 32bit testing for now....
  19. you could try this batch file for x64 for my guide! seems to be working in removing the packages? the wim tweak also seems to work too? unfortunately, the testing in vmware takes too long as im using a 32bit OS as my main system! ps this will be my only test with x64 as its too time consuming in vmware!

  21. i keep tbs.dll coz i get an installation error regarding trusted platform. dont know why tho? msoert2.dll is kept for installing msn messenger 8.5. scard was kept for activation! the unattended settings arent used at all in vlite but for some unknown reason it still shows up in the lastsession.ini
  22. just did my first install, followed my method above, beside a few errors in event viewer, everything seems to be running fine in vmware! this is the new but i will use my last session from my guide instead! this install size is about 3.4gb tho?
