ive done another session but this time i left all the services in! it seems this time its working so im guessing by removing some of the services causes the errors? but which service i wonder...?

i also tried without any addons or winnt.sif file & still have the same problem?

has anyone got b2 working with sp3 rtm! as u cab see, im missing the quick launch bar in the taskbar, missing media player & windows explorer shortcuts in the start menu, media player doesnt even work! not even sure what im doing wrong to be honest? ps im also missing automatic update service even tho i never removed it???

sorry about that nuhi! test runs were conducted on vmware 5. same ini was used on 1.4beta which worked fine but failed with rc2!

has anyone tried rc2 with server 2003? for some reason, i get a configuration file error when in pre-install mode! it happens after files have been copied to the hard drive & before the computer restarts! everything works fine with 1.4beta tho?

it seems if the shell32.dll exceeds a certain size, you will get the user32.dll error if the kb925902 is installed. there is a solution on the crystal xp board but i have included the excerpt from there in word format. it involves patching the user32.dll image base address

this is booogy's addon issue (not an issue exactly). his addon also contains a unpatched uxtheme file, so you need to patch it with nlite after you integrated the addon...if that makes sense

you need to leave in wmp6.4 in xp to keep compatibility!

you need to leave the application lookup service as default. i had a similar problem but that seemed to work!

if you're running a 32bit os then that is probably why you are getting that error? but i could be wrong

hello all, need a bit of advice please! i have an athlon x2 4200+ running on an asrock motherboard, with 1gb ddr400 ram & running with windows xp sp2 32bit. i'm trying to nlite & then install x64 in vmware for testing before doing a proper install. everytime i run the iso in vmware, i keep getting an error saying that it can't find the hard disk for the temporary install files. if i run the original x64 cd or the exact image mounted in alcohol, that installs fine. then, if i copied the entire cd to my desktop & recreated the image using nlite1.2rc or ultraiso mount in alcohol, i get the errors again. any help would be appreciated?!!! i do have one sata drive which i only use to store mp3s & nothing else!
