Anybody else give this a shot? It didn't work for me. I was using a messed up system though. Its supposed to add extra filetypes to the default XP picture viewer. Like PSD, jpeg200... etc. http://www.imagextender.com/
I've been doing some reading and turns out that Logical Disk Manager is required for the prefetch functionality amongst other things. When muddling through nLite, the Network Logon service is required for Logical Disk Manager. Will this break prefetch functionality? If its removed? Since Logical Disk Manager needs it?
Metric all the way. Fahrenheit makes no sense to me. Neither do feet, miles, furlongs, hog heads... etc. I use feet frequently, and inches but only when estimating short distances and I don't care for accuracy. lbs also.
aviv00 it uses 400mb ram with or without Aero? What else do you have running at the same time though? Bare minimum services? Or the default ones. Also, you mentioned older games. How old exactly?
I have a directory that won't remove itself. There is a nasty file running in there that crashes the system whenever I try to remove it. Its a trojan or some crap. Any small app that will let me remove it? I've tried unlocker, and advanced file remover. No luck.
Feature from the Tomato Wiki: Netfilter/iptables with customizable settings, IPP2P and l7-filter Does that mean IP blocking like PeerGuardian? That's what I'm understanding.
The war is not over yet. Toshiba is cutting prices on HD DVD again. This is either a huge liquidation sale, or they're sending another wave of price cuts to compete. Its best to wait and see what's up before making a decision. Unless you have money to burn. In which case go for it. HD-DVD and BluRay.
Cool. So what does Tomato offer compared to the rest? Basically I'm interested in enhanced security. Only allowing my computers on the network (through MAC addresses?). Do any of these firmwares allow you to block IP address ranges? Like PeerGuardian 2 does? Better wireless performance is a bonus.
It's a Linksys WRT54G ver 2. CPU: 200 MHz RAM: 16 MB (or 32MB on some) Flash: 4 MB Also, I've read the Tomato firmware has been discontinued awhile ago.
