Chrome doesn't require those to be installed to run on any versions of Windows 10.2 points

I wrote: @anton12 "Try additionally" doesn't mean that my provided SSUAO is required. When I checked your problematic website, I tested first a SSUAO without the string Goanna which sometimes causes troubles when loading certain websites. And my provided SSUAO doesn't harm, then it doesn't really matter. Use the native one or any other! The main thing is that the website works with it.2 points

Please don't bring politics here, and just so you know, EU is stronger than ever, and America is very well united in banning Kaspersky, in case you missed, you may familiarise yourself with the article I posted about that matter. That said, I hope we leave aside the "dead horse kaspersky" and move on! We are waiting when you gift us with the update to 360 Explorer on the 95th engine.1 point

Currently, Windows 8.1 can run the latest version (119). Since 120 Nightly will be released tomorrow, I think it will run as well. It‘s going to be the fifth post-EOL version to run on 8.11 point

I too have this question! It seems odd. First they write they stay on older OS to be less spied on, second they port the standard Chrome/chromium, really odd.1 point

Yes, I meant if his firm paid for non-cheapo LTBG licences, why wouldn't they simply demand moneyback, if they ignore reports, lol. I mean, it should work with official software, period!1 point

Dear Gawd, I've been looking for this for centuries! It allowed me to use +480megs on my 32bit OS, many thanks!1 point

Hi @AstroSkipperand all others, sorry for the delays, despite what they say about 8.xxx to be the last for XP, I have only been able to use Comodo 5.xxx and 6.xxx under XP. Newer versions simply didn't work good for me, despite what they say! I even had missing icons! As you may see on the screen, 5.5 works, but modern programmes have no problems to just go through it! When checking for updates, for example. Conclusions: I do not recommend the 5.xxx range for the modern days usage, It's simply too old. I'll go on with the investigations.1 point

From my research, WD is simply not capable to produce disks of any capacity above 6TB. I have WD60EFAX (6TB SMR), it's fine, despite the new not so popular SMR tech. It's still too new to tell about the longevity.1 point

Recently got myself a rebranded WD (previously made by Hitachi), it's of course identical, 10TB WD 7200rpm. Very Noisy! Looks like it has "smart defrag" made by the device. I'm not happy with the purchase at all. Full specs: HGST WD Ultrastar DC HC510 10TB 7200 RPM SATA 6Gb/s 3.5" Helium Platform Enterprise Hard Disk Drive - HUH721010ALE604 (0F27606) Price approx 250-300 Euros.1 point

They definitely don't, while the older ones can have troubles with mixed content on pages. Is this the case? Did you check all connections on that page? Do you use adblock? And check whether it could also be a remote font issue.1 point

I agree wholeheartedly. Besides New Moon 28 and Serpent 52/55, Mypal 68 is another perfect browser for older operating systems. @feodor2 has definitely done a great job.1 point

BTW, turning off Windows XP Firewall is not necessarily needed. Just for testing purpose! Generally, it should work with Windows XP Firewall enabled. But you have to allow connections of IE and Proxy's PopMenu in your firewall, of course. TBH, it was a labyrinth at the time when we were solving all related problems to get it work. But now, it's just a problem of proper configuration. So, not really an abstract labyrinth anymore here! You do not have to be a Maze Runner.1 point

But why ? It works this weird way without extensions installed. I only have uBlock 1.4. And then again, why only them are not normal ? Perhaps their picture format is not decoded properly ?1 point

Thank you , friend. As I wrote everything's fine on 360 Explorer for me also. The problem started to appear with a newer chrome only.1 point

Hello @mockingbird! The last time I downloaded files from GitHub all was fine with palefill 1.21 installed. I do not use the WC polyfill add-on from JustOff anymore. Kind regards, AstroSkipper1 point

Thanks , I have the tools , also I keep the caps in a fridge , not the main fridge , of course , lol . I heard this before , does it really help ? I have plenty of new mobos and other parts in original boxes , can't imagine to turn them on regularly ...1 point

Yes , a good idea , I think I'll do that , I still have plenty of German and Dutch caps from the 80's/90's.1 point

Thank you ! This all we have (available right now) from seasonics here . Usually it is much more , but now kinda limited due to [insert any "reason" from the news]. I want something between 700 - 800W, so I removed all lower models from the text. Remember I have a GPU that cooks very well , lol. it needs 275W-300W alone. @TrevMUN, thank you for the article , what is the best PSU to buy in advance for at least several years ahead ? I want to buy several. Preferably without LED lights and without paint coating . We've got a wide range to choose from here. The problem is they all look like chinese crap to me. I was quite satisfied with FSP (Fujitsu Siemens Power) 700W , but they don't make them anymore.1 point
