  1. Announcement: ProxHTTPSPoxy's systray menu will be released in the next days The test phase of ProxHTTPSPoxy's systray menu has been finished successfully and I've decided to publish it in the next days. I still have to configure the download package, title it, write documentation and check it all. Here is the latest screenshot of ProxHTTPSPoxy's systray menu: @Dave-H, as you can see I followed your suggestion to formulate the items as clear as possible for all users. Thanks again for your opinion! Cheers, AstroSkipper

  3. will be fixed in next build. since upstream is removing telemetry code, this may break codes that they no longer have. https://github.com/roytam1/UXP/commit/393b7aac8ce224a0bd433ae2c8358c25b0f8d037

  4. Hi there. I'm having issues with the search bar not working properly in the last version of sp52 (Win32 https://o.rthost.win/basilisk/basilisk52-g4.8.win32-git-20220430-3219d2d-uxp-cf4e046f9-xpmod.7z) It won't process enter, nor clicking on the arrow. Not an issue with previous built.

  5. Well, it seems that @vxiiduu has finally released his VxKex Windows 7 api extensions that you can use to run modern programs on Windows 7. It works very well so far, and makes many programs such as the latest version of iTunes which normally wouldn't run on Windows 7 run. NOTE: These are not modified Microsoft binaries, these are different binaries that just implement more functions their what would normally be on Windows 7. Link: https://github.com/vxiiduu/VxKex Latest Version: 0.0.0.2

  7. You're welcome. You may have seen when the public opening is. I was a backer, so we got three months early access. Not sure what the regular prices are, but I think the smallest tier is 3 months.

  9. PotPlayer may no longer be updated to support XP (their download page still says it's also for XP!), but Extension\Media\PlayParse\MediaPlayParse - YouTube.as file is usable with the older XP compatible version and may be extracted from the installer using 7-Zip. The old parser of early 2021 is unable to stomach YouTube of 2022 as expected.

  10. Windows Update Error Codes If an error code occurs while accessing AU/WU/MU, it's helpful to understand the meaning of it. Here is a very comprehensive list of Windows Update Error Codes: http://inetexplorer.mvps.org/archive/wuc.htm Another list of these codes with more detailed descriptions is the "Complete List of Windows Update Error Codes" and can be found here: http://woshub.com/all-windows-update-error-codes/ Legacy Update also provides a list of Windows Update Error Codes. Here is the link: https://legacyupdate.net/errorcodes Cheers, AstroSkipper

  11. Ah, guess I assumed you were kinda building a new "swiss army knife", but I'd call 14 basically just site-dependent and not "global".

  14. I'd like to see something like this as well.. I hate the fact that every browser is trying to become Chrome, but unless some major player in the "industry" bucks against it, it will continue no matter what any individual user likes or dislikes. I'm no programmer, but I just can't imagine it is really that hard to produce a sane UI for a program. Worth mentioning, this Chrome derivative does seem to have some very small measure of UI customization support..

  15. Ooops, that wasn't the case...it just uses update.googleapis.com instead of clients2.google.com. All documentation points to the latter... The way query is sent to that URL is different and response is in JSON rather than XML, which I haven't quite figured out yet. I prevented it from connecting to Google, but haven't got it to use local extension respository. Is it a secret? I certainly can't find anything about it.

  16. In case someone want some fonts on XP, in this folder I will be posting some fonts I was messing around with. https://www.mediafire.com/folder/1hf8d38zg8seq/Fonts The ones that matter are: - SegoeUIEmoji_edited.ttf (Segoe UI Emoji font, version 1.35, with proper flag support from the Twitter Emoji Font) - Twemoji_13.1.ttf (Improved B/W Twitter Emoji font, name is "Twitter Color Emoji Thick") - Twemoji_13.1_fakedSegoeUIEmoji.ttf (the same font as above but with the ID of the Segoe UI Emoji font to make it load the emojis on the browser) The original project for the Twitter Emoji Font is here --> https://github.com/eosrei/twemoji-color-font The other ones are for testing purposes. Cheers.

  17. I use a promising extension. Its development is followed by Giorgio Maone (Noscript's developer) who helped me especially in a bug for documentation, I have already reported a couple of bugs that have been corrected. In my opinion it should be used in chrome-based browsers but it is also available for firefox-based browsers. Want to know what it is?
