It works here in Serpent52 and NM27. I had a little issue in NM27 where the video div would not show up unless i resized the browser window height, but fixed it with a bit of userCSS (padding-bottom related). I didn't check with clean profiles, but i guess it would work (maybe with some minimal adjustments) One thing to note is that the initial setting in St52 was HD720, when i changed it to "medium" in the player (the only other available option) i got that error too. After switching to DASH in the site settings i had more quality options in the player and they seem to work fine. P.S. That girl is funny

I've been seeing this Wayback problem for at least 4 years now. It seems to affect many (most/all?) MS KB pages that were crawled from 2016 onward. I never had much luck with this method, since for me the page load takes several seconds after clicking Stop to take effect. So I must stop it before the page is shown and it was very hard to get the timing right on something I can't see yet and am not sure exactly how long it will take on any given attempt. What I did notice is that over the years MS has changed the format of URLs for their KB pages, and usually the older version of the URLs was from a time before this wayback problem. So fortunately for this particular update there is actually an older crawl with the different format of URL that works, even from SeaMonkey 2.49.2 on XP: http://web.archive.org/web/20150602151315/https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/898461 (notice the /en-us/kb/ part, these are usually the better formatted crawls) Sadly for other updates there isn't always an older crawl that will work, and sometimes I am stuck with having to view page source and poke through the HTML tags to find the unformatted content (which is generally still present although not rendered correctly/at all).

Agree with all the above. 360Chrome does everything except the Firefox Sync part. As far as 1) viewing Instagram videos and 2) using Firefox Sync, SeaMonkey 2.49.5 seems to be the only XP browser that does the trick. But there are other Web pages that SM fails on too, like Facebook. So whatever XP browser we choose, we have to give up something. Way back on page 3 of this thread, I figured out (I think) the UXP fixes that let Instagram videos work on browsers like Serpent 52: It'd be nice if that set of fixes could be merged into Serpent 55, which AIUI still uses Firefox Sync. Or, for that matter, into "straight" FF 52.9!

Well, it's better than nothing. I just can't believe how frustrating Web browsing on XP has gotten, even with Chrome!

I found one way, but it's a bit weird: When it showed the correct page (on Chrome), I clicked Stop on the address bar, and I was able to view the web page fully without any issue. Yeah, the archived web page looked a bit incomplete, and I know it's not the best way, but that's the way I found to open web pages like this for now.

OK, I've tried with Serpent 52, and yes the Instagram videos (and comments view) work there fine! Unfortunately, Facebook still has the problem that you can't post, text entry doesn't work. I would really like to find a Mozilla-based browser that works properly on everything in XP, but so far no joy. If it could still use Firefox Sync to synchronise with my other Firefox browsers that would be the icing on the cake! 360Chrome still seems the best option at the moment I'm afraid.

Hi I had the same problem of script with the bank and Newmoon 28 and Serpent 52 which refused to function, whereas, that functioned on 360chrome 13.5.1030, but, that functions again on Newmoon whereas I did nothing, that it is solved all alone, and I can pay my invoices in CB with also. Also, the website "radio.garden As far as DcBrowser is concerned, it works well now, because at the beginning it was putting an error message when it crashed on the videos. "WARNING:pe_image_reader.cc(181)] CodeView debug entry of unexpected size in C:\WINDOWS\system32\OLEACC.dll" That also solved itself , now Dcbrowser plays videos better compared to 360chrome all versions. 360chrome all versions produces crackling sound with video streams, and float video does not work on the "crowdbunker" website it displays a blank, black window instead, but it works with youtube. The float video of Dcbrowser works on all of them without any problem. Newmoon 28 and Serpent 52 does not work with the internal video player of "crowdbunker". So, I use DcBrowser which is for me the best for playing videos with "Hardware acceleration disabled" on Windows XP sp2, Intel P4-3Ghz, and 2GB of memory.

I have four laptops and almost never use them. I've always advised AGAINST them. People will claim to buy them for "portability" but then they end up on a DESK and NEVER MOVE FROM THAT DESK. You could have purchased a DESKTOP instead of a laptop and gotten TWICE the computing power at HALF the cost. Two of those laptops are from former employers, I got to keep them at the end of my employment with those companies. The third is an Acer Aspire One that I mistakenly thought would be useful for its size and portability. I've used it twice in the last three years. The fourth is a garage laptop for tuning turbo cars as a hobby. The laptop ties in with aftermarket EPROM engine-control-unit and sits in the pasenger seat running diagnostics when doing 0 to 60 in 1.8.

Sorry, I misread your posts. Instagram videos do seem to work in Serpent 52, so maybe it is the same old problem after all. (I confirmed it also works in SeaMonkey and IceApe, so it will probably work in New Moon 28 too.) Many moons ago I opined that, since there are still FF 52.9 users, they needed a more permanent fix than updating UserContent.css every time this happens. The UXP browsers are great, but folks may not be willing or able to move to Pale Moon's browser syncing infrastructure. SeaMonkey 2.49.5 works, and still uses the Mozilla browser sync infrastructure. The UI is somewhat different, but you might try it. (To play videos, you'll need to transplant the same two .dll files as you did for FF 52.9.)

But i still think that problem of first in the list - yewtu.be should be investigated by roytam, because what if other iterations of invidious would start to act like that.
