  1. When I set up auto payment last year it was directly to my debit card. I could not change my payment details on MSFN forum. I knew I had to because of my card was renewed/expired. I am glad that MSFN has gone to PayPal as the card details and bank details are kept up to date.

  2. Try booting in safe mode. If it boots, then create a new account from there. The image is not original? The original x64 does not ask for the account name, but automatically creates the user "Administrator." Try the original image.

  3. Thanks for Adding WIM Capture and Driver Export Option, which are both very useful to me. In WIM Capture the wim file is not marked to be wimboot compatible, allthough the file can be applied for wimboot mode. Can you add a checkbox to select Capture in wimboot mode, so that the wim file is marked as wimboot compatible ? In the Boot code dialogue can you Add option to choose for BootMenuPolicy Legacy Or Standard ? BootMenuPolicy Legacy is often preferred since it allows in Multiboot to boot straight with the selected option, without the reboot that otherwise occurs. In the Boot code dialogue in case of EFI Boot Drive, the preferred setting should be UEFI instead of ALL, since BIOS cannot be used in this case. It would be nice if these settings can be saved in the WinNTSetup.ini file by using Save Ini Option. In Create VHD the preset filename is still Windows7.vhd, which nowadays should be Windows10.vhd The Menu Item for the new options is now named Offline Windows, whereas these new options can be used also with Online Windows. May be a better name would be Windows System The Driver Export function is also quite useful to collect the drivers that can be used with the Add Drivers option for a much faster clean install of Windows 10. I have used WinNTSetup4 also in Win10XPE environment. The Hotfix Uninstall Option is then available. There were no Hotfixes available for selection, allthough Windows 10 1903 Installation was Updated with 6 Updates. Is the Hotfix Unistall Option not suitable for these Updates ? The preferred WIMAPI wimlib Setting is Not saved in the WinNTSetup.ini file by using Save Ini Option. It would be nice if also this setting can be saved in the ini file. Anyway the new options are a good improvement of the already very good WinNTSetup Program

  5. From my experience with iOS, it is much inferior to android in system feature. Its logic of doing things is not for your convenience, but for your its safety; and for this odd purpose, you cannot do many things that is so natural on other platforms that it shouldn't be deemed as a "feature", such as transfer files with other devices, save a document and open in another app, etc. As I read, iOS has a unique sandbox structure, which means every app is isolated, that an app can only access data of its own, which suggests data sharing is not possible, or complicated. There are shared documents directory but I never know how exactly it works, and it seems rather limited. It seems only iTunes has special privilege to manage data. Other tools calling iTunes lib are more user friendly, like iTools. If you need a true file manager, you must jailbreak it. But even after that, you still cannot do simple tasks say open a html file in your device with Safari, because Safari app locked in "sandbox" just can't access that file. Typical things iOS can do is processing data from network, and back to network, and do it only in one app. That makes iOS a specialized toy.

  6. @Dave-H Do You happen to use ProxHTTPSProxy MII? You should add ProxHTTPSProxy MII certificate to Firefox or choose the option "No Proxy" in Your Firefox Connection settings:

  7. As usual, Adobe Flash Player has been updated to 32.0.0.238 today (and should work with Windows XP SP3/Windows XP x64 SP2) Internet Explorer ActiveX: http://fpdownload.adobe.com/get/flashplayer/pdc/32.0.0.238/install_flash_player_ax.exe Mozilla Firefox NPAPI (also for Opera Presto/Google Chrome 44 and earlier): http://fpdownload.adobe.com/get/flashplayer/pdc/32.0.0.238/install_flash_player.exe Google Chrome 45 through 49 PPAPI: http://fpdownload.adobe.com/get/flashplayer/pdc/32.0.0.238/install_flash_player_ppapi.exe

  8. This is one of the most useful Windows Vista posts anywhere! I realize that the topic is hardware rather than drivers, but NVIDIA drivers are not covered in Last versions of software for Windows Vista and Windows Server 2008 (another extremely useful post). This gives the impression that 365.19 was the one and only last driver version to officially support Vista, but that is generally only the correct driver for GeForce 400 Series and above. For GeForce 8 Series (I have an 8500 GT), and also 9, 100, 200 and 300 Series, the recommended driver version is 342.01 ( 32 bit 64 bit ). Despite its lower version number, 342.01 was released 7 months after 365.19.

  9. It has occurred to me that the reason why a developer would go the route of stopping their program from launching on XP (rather than saying, it might not work properly from version x going forward) is that the companies are taking this step for data integrity. In other words, allowing people to run on an unsupported OS would mean that an exploit could be used in that scenario that they would not be able to mitigate. Shutting the door is the only way they can think of.

  10. I think it was the right choice for ROBLOX to end support for XP and Vista, The average ROBLOX player (which are mostly kids and early teens) plays the game on Mobile, or Windows 7, 8.1 or 10, or rarely XBOX ONE There doesn't seem to be any other way to play ROBLOX, Finobe, a old revival with a community that reminds me a lot of a forum's "random" category, doesn't seem to be compatible with XP and Raymonf doesn't want to... At least Minecraft should work with the old launcher. Yeah, but they will not be able to play the games, Unless if it's a revival.

  11. ... And I'm so tired reading that same ol' mantra there: As if they (third party software developers) would give one nickel whether someone's setup is secure or not; what is the underlying truth inside this PR talk is that Microsoft themselves make it gradually impossible for third party software developers to target older OSes with their (M$'s) updated Windows SDKs! ... and it always comes down to that! Win7 will soon reach End of Extended Support, hence it'll also be "outdated and unsupported by Microsoft", with no more "security patches"; what is their stance on Win7? Security reasons my... behind!

  12. Ahoy there! This topic would probably attract more attention in MSFN's Windows XP forum. Perhaps @dencorso would consider relocating it? XP has a larger community with more hackers. Your thread could use the Roblox link Support for Windows XP and Vista ending soon. Sorry, but I'm not a gamer myself.
