  2. https://www.uwphotographyguide.com/fish-behavior This makes me happy.
  3. Insidious (2010) Director James Wan Just something mindless to watch that if fun.
  4. I live a humble simple life. Must appreciate what I do have ... 2 working computers and a modest wardrobe and cds and dvds and 2 nice plants to keep me company. I don't feel like I need anything else, nothing else would make me feel better. I feel incomplete and empty inside and its showing on the outside. Now to add insult to injury and only add to my anxiety I feel as I'm doing something wrong by using Thorium as I read that browser developer is infringing on Supermium which is paid and I can NOT afford to purchase anything at this point as I have spare cash to buy diet coke on my walks so now I don't know what to do anymore. Likely just stick with 360 Redux until that day comes and just go with Linux completely if these computers are even still working - they're on their 'last legs' and barely hanging on - like me. Its been said they would like all of use to be on phones only and I'm fighting it - I don't like phones and don't want a smart phone. They allow me to use a computer but the catch is I can only have 1 working at a time and this Dell 745 Optiplex is the better of the two so I rarely fire up the Dell Dimension anymore only to update Mypal68. I guess, Like, I don't know, other priorities are more important like my health. Sort of been trying to taper off the Clonazepam and one day be free from that monkey but there is never gonna be a good time and my anxiety and stress levels are through the roof; currently. My doctors are working with me on this and they know (full well) what I'm going through but I don't want any more medication to be added to the list. I already feel Dumbed down enough already and flat and stunted, but my thought process(es) lead me to dark places of hopelessness and we don't know what to do about that and my Derealization is not managed and I can't tell between that and this crazy world anymore.
  5. Today
  6. Yessssaaa, it installs XP SP3 on my AMD 486 133MHZ cpu !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Even I do not get any Bsod before, I did exact the same extras as you: Extra setupldr.bin patch 75 to EB in 0x23513 (strange, because it has CPUID), and replacing NTKRNLMP.EXE with our hacked NTOSKRNL.EXE, niccccccccccccccccccccceee.. And I also delete logagent.exe and wmnetmgr.dll from the XP SP3 install CD, because those 2 are the only files left, with CMPXCHG8b opcode in it Dietmar Here is the full fun https://ufile.io/kresk3y1
  7. Thanks. FWIW, the display of the DigitalSpy site is exactly the same in the new Thorium Legacy 122.0.6261.169. I have reported it again on GitHub (in the right place this time!)
  8. @roytam1 I am just testing on Shuttle Hot 433 board with AMD 133 MHZ486 cpu AMD AM5x86-P75 Dietmar EDIT: On real 486 compi, the same reboot happens before the F8 appears. Is there something other, that you change on my "Source" CD for setup of german XP SP3 with all those modded files?
  9. When uBlock Origin is installed, it controls the preloading of websites. You do not have to disable uBlock Origin to control this feature again, you can simply enable the option "Disable pre-fetching" in uBO's dashboard page "Settings" as already mentioned by @Dixel.
  10. yes and no. either people can work together, or work alone. but it doesn't matter, as source is available.
  11. OK,you have the PC with VM W.XP. Mine was just a theoretical curiosity. And certainly the topic is boring to other MSFN members. Have a good evening.
  12. The file `chrome.reg` in `examples` looks like this: Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00 ; thorium version: 122.0.6261.169 [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Policies\Thorium] "AbusiveExperienceInterventionEnforce"=dword:00000001 "AccessCodeCastDeviceDuration"=dword:0000003c "AccessCodeCastEnabled"=dword:00000001 "AccessControlAllowMethodsInCORSPreflightSpecConformant"=dword:00000001 "AccessibilityImageLabelsEnabled"=dword:00000000 "AdditionalDnsQueryTypesEnabled"=dword:00000001 "AdsSettingForIntrusiveAdsSites"=dword:00000001 "AdvancedProtectionAllowed"=dword:00000001 "AllowBackForwardCacheForCacheControlNoStorePageEnabled"=dword:00000001 "AllowCrossOriginAuthPrompt"=dword:00000000 "AllowDeletingBrowserHistory"=dword:00000001 "AllowDinosaurEasterEgg"=dword:00000000 (etc.) And the file `chrome.adm` starts with; ; thorium version: 122.0.6261.169 CLASS MACHINE CATEGORY !!chromium KEYNAME "Software\Policies\Thorium" CATEGORY !!ScreenCapture_Category POLICY !!SameOriginTabCaptureAllowedByOrigins_Policy #if version >= 4 SUPPORTED !!SUPPORTED_WIN7 #endif EXPLAIN !!SameOriginTabCaptureAllowedByOrigins_Explain PART !!SameOriginTabCaptureAllowedByOrigins_Part LISTBOX KEYNAME "Software\Policies\Thorium\SameOriginTabCaptureAllowedByOrigins" VALUEPREFIX "" END PART END POLICY (etc.) Are you sure you looked at the latest zip file: https://github.com/Alex313031/thorium-legacy/releases/download/M122.0.6261.169/thorium_policy_templates.zip Btw, I'm not planning to apply any of these on XP. When needed I do it manually (checked that it works under the `Chromium` key with e.g. : Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00 [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Chromium] "DnsOverHttpsMode"="automatic" [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Chromium] "DnsOverHttpsTemplates"="https://dns.quad9.net/dns-query" (checked with `netstat -an`)
  13. find the root of problem when changing NTDLL.DLL size. @Dietmar you forgot to kill .rsrc section before adding your new section. (and add back .rsrc after filling new section, by using resource hacker) had a hard time when relocating all related calls to new section. please keep in mind that variable size sections (for example, .rsrc) should be in last in the section list. finally fixed NTDLL.DLL for localizations. fixed ger NTDLL: https://rthost.win/tmp/NTDLL-xpsp3-486hack-ger.7z I can upgrade from 2000 to XP directly on 486 now:
  14. That file reports a different registry path than the one you wrote down HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Policies\Google\Chrome try checking: HCU\......... P.S. I noticed that the policy "NetworkServiceSandboxEnabled" is true in the file. So theoretically it should work. Try the Command Line Switch: --enable-features=NetworkServiceSandbox
  15. As Alex is quite openly stating publicly that he's using code from Supermium, not trying to do it behind Win32ss's back, I would have thought that Win32ss would have done something about it by now if they objected, even if only by initially asking Alex nicely to stop doing it!
  16. I noticed a huge delay, before it finally got through, when posting inf. in a post. Like it checks something or so.
  17. Yes, tested in Windows XP VM under Linux Mint. `NetworkServiceSandboxEnabled` didn't have an effect (doesn't work on unsupported operating systems). PS, I think I know why my manually written policy under `HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Thorium` doesn't work. I have not applied the adml file from `thorium_policy_templates.zip` (no idea where to put it under XP, to be honest).
  18. Forgot say, the laptop is from 2013, based on Haswell Pentium mobile 3550M. https://ark.intel.com/products/77404
  19. So I got some time today, I tried the driver, I had to add my device inf., it installed fine, but gives error 43 code.
  20. It's meaningless, since many people simply don't report crimes, don't want to get involved with the police, etc, and the issue is rather serous (remember the scandal you mentioned), Supermium browser, which this one is based on, is paid.
  21. It doesn't work that way, here we respect intellectual property, even though we understand most of it belongs to another man (win32), despite all of the above, there needs to be a clear statement with Open Source code published by the author, none of that happened, so far.
