  2. Hi @Dietmar I recently purchased a Panasonic Toughbook CF-53 off of ebay with the intention of turning it into a rugged XP laptop to last for years. https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/256347295953 My assumption was that there would be XP drivers for everything in this laptop, except for perhaps the internal wifi. This turned out to be true, I found drivers for everything in this laptop except for the internal wifi, which I worked around by purchasing this USB wifi dongle. https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/336201595217?var=545751826956 There is even an XP driver for it in the driver download for it. https://www.realtek.com/Download/List?cate_id=664&menu_id=297 I know it doesn't list XP on the site, but the driver for XP is in there and it works. Unfortunately, I've run into an issue where even though the Integrated Intel HD 4400 chip has XP drivers and they do install correctly. https://www.upload.ee/files/12999940/WinXP32_Last_driver_4000_.zip.html Upon reboot I always get a 0x50 PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA BSOD at boot. I'm not skilled enough to figure out why this BSOD is happening. Can I ask you to purchase one of these laptops and find out what is causing the Intel GPU driver to BSOD? It's got XP drivers so it really should just work. https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/256347295953 I can contribute some of the $500CAD to help purchase this if you need it. The one I got is pristine, pretty much unused and brand new which is good. I'd really like you help to get this laptop to work in XP. Would you be interested in this? (I had written this as a PM at first but apparently you can't receive them?)
  3. Avatars are for kids and my userstyle sheets block them without prejudice.
  4. @xper, I know a lot of good, decent people and contributing members who had to leave MSFN because of such constant insults from @NotHereToPlayGames, and it looks like nothing has ever been done about it, this topic is just one example of thousands. This member acts like this in practically every conversation, I myself stopped posting and participating because of it!

  6. Eloquentia non est tua vis. And a few other things as well. Only people who are verbally impoverished resort to insults. BTW, nice image, is it supposed to become your new avatar?
  7. A s s . . . I'm moving on, your arrogance does not equate to confidence, it's just arrogance, "nothing more, nothing less". But yeah, IN CLOSING, "you win", you have isolated something that affects YOU and ONLY you. Congratulations. Here's your trophy.
  8. Did I say that? No. I said it is not Android related. No more, no less. And the problem is of course that I CAN SEE ME. That never happened before.
  9. I don't think you understood me. I was not claiming it was Android-related. It's all tied to logged in or not FOR YOU and whether you (and you alone) see yourself listed in Recently Browsing but ONLY in the browser/device that you are logged into MSFN. The REST OF US (whether logged in or not) DO NOT see you listed in Recently Browsing.
  10. And it is not Android related. Here is a screenshot taken from New Moon 28 on my beloved, old Windows XP computer:
  11. I'm glad it now works for you. Yes when the current BETA version finally releases as stable, I will keep both v2.50 and v4.80 downloads live and supported for a limited time (I haven't decided yet how long to support), as I will be phasing out the .ulz files since the BETA version no longer supports installing the update lists that way.
  12. If you still want to do this for XP 64-bit, I might be able to help you find testers. You can create a new post in the win2000_dev_community support section, and I will try to find people to test it with you. all I can say is that the future is now with the 64-bit system.
  13. Ok. You can't see my username but I can as of today. If I open another browser where I'm not logged into my account, I can't see my username, either. So something must have changed.
  14. Perhaps it is only showing you TO YOU. What happens if you log in on one machine, but then browse on ANOTHER DEVICE (ie, your beloved Android) but DO NOT LOG IN ??? My guess (strictly just a guess) is that your Androind (not logged in) will NOT reveal "to you yourself" that you are logged in and on MSFN *on a different device*.
  15. Steve: I did as instructed and it worked (naturally). Right now my folder has 25h2 as part of the name. when I change it to 26h2 in the fall I guess I'll have to do the same procedure? regards...
  16. What page? Any post's Recently Browsing and the Online Users page (grayed when Hidden) work as expected for me. I don't see AstroSkipper in either place. If you've toggled it several times in testing, that might have fixed any glitch.
  17. Not working for me. My setting was 'Hidden" for years. But as of today, I can suddenly see my username. That has never happened before.
  18. Yep I decided to update WUD as it just wasn't compatible with MS's new WU servers. As to your two questions, 1) Are you sure you didn't change the download folder before installing the new version of WUD? Uninstall WUD and then reinstall v2.50 and then after v4.80 without changing the download folder. 2) Unfortunately due to the changes made to the new version of WUD, the change download folder option can no longer be changed and is completely removed in the BETA version going forward.
  19. Working for me. I just now changed my Online Status from Visible to Hidden to Visible; Recently Browsing on a refreshed page correctly tracked each change.
  20. As of today, I can see my username right at the bottom of the relevant page, even though I’ve disabled this in my account settings. What on earth is going on now, apart from the MSFN outages that have been going on for over a week? Is this supposed to be a new feature, or has the forum software gone completely haywire?
  21. Weren't both menu bar and Windows 7 command bar deprecated at some point in time with one of the 25H2 updates?
  22. STEVE: I must have missed the memo, I didn't know about the new WUD. Wow been using the 2.50 version since I started shaving, LOL. Great work. I installed the stable version and the files downloaded flawlessly. However the changelog says they are supposed to download to the Documents\Windows Updates Downloader folder? That folder was not created under my documents folder. Did I do something wrong or interpret incorrectly? I don't know where the downloaded files went. Also it it possible to bring back the ability to download the files to a folder of our choosing (Browse). regards....
  23. @Dave-H As you haven’t said anything about the suggestion I put forward so far, I’d like to know whether that’s an option for you, or whether limiting the online updates isn’t an option. You can always restore the cache folder once Panda support gets back to you, though I don’t really expect that to happen.
  24. How convenient for them "we are unable to investigate or provide support". Let them drink damage with Windows 11.
