damian666 Posted March 26, 2007 Posted March 26, 2007 @kelscould you do a link for the source also?that would be great!damian666
Volatus Posted March 26, 2007 Posted March 26, 2007 Dude, I'd be glad to host it. I don't want to take credit for, or have control over, the file, so if someone likes (preferrably XPero), they can make an account at http://hostfile.org and upload it there. One thing you'll never get is a "too much bandwidth" error. I'd be glad to host the site too! Domain and all, if you can think of one.
Ultimate Predator Posted March 26, 2007 Posted March 26, 2007 Noticeable changes I love:Logon screenThings to fix:IE7 patch didn't work, reverted back to IE6.Boot screen I still don't like, it needs to have an icon showing you that its active, like in the original.None of the Custom Icons installed.
martin10018 Posted March 26, 2007 Posted March 26, 2007 Thanks Xpero!BTW: Mirror 3 to 7 are not working!
benheaven1 Posted March 26, 2007 Posted March 26, 2007 Backup Mirror: http://xpero.circlestech.comThanks
Wesmosis Posted March 27, 2007 Posted March 27, 2007 thanxbut plz man, why you insist on that dead boot screen?!!!!! WE NEED A PROGRESS BAR man!TIA
Icy EyeG Posted March 27, 2007 Posted March 27, 2007 Hi all!Just to say that XPize works fine on my PC (WinXP Pro Portuguese) and XPized IE7 is working fine as well. However, some icons are needing to be XPized:WMV icon (could be reverted to the WMP10 icon instead)Internet Options Icon on Control PanelSystems Explorer Icon on Control PanelAll these 3 are vista-like icons, so it would be nice if they were XPized.
piXelatedEmpire Posted March 28, 2007 Posted March 28, 2007 why did u drop IE6 support??? Because sometimes, you just have to move with the times...Looking good XPero.. I'd have to agree with a few others tho, definately need a progress bar of sorts for boot screen.Cheers
Icy EyeG Posted March 28, 2007 Posted March 28, 2007 why did u drop IE6 support??? Because sometimes, you just have to move with the times...Indeed...However, with the XPize 4.6 source out, the people interested in support on IE6 can compile their own version of a "legacy" XPize with IE6 support.
XPero Posted March 28, 2007 Author Posted March 28, 2007 Ive updated today XPize46Full.exe, XPize46Lite.exe and XPize46SCR.zip. The changes are not important, I've just edited all URLs to point to the new domain www.xpize.net. Please mi gracious mirrors update your files. Thanks
Pistolero Posted March 29, 2007 Posted March 29, 2007 Thanks, XPero!Quick question, what are the unattended switches for 4.6 final? I wish to install it unattended and also skip IE7, RDP6 and the bootscreen...
