I actually heard that didnt know if it was true or not [/quote:3174d2b432]

Yeah its true, wires inside your puter expand when hot, and shrink when cold. If that kept happening every day your wires will snap or something eventually.

its bad for a car, but you arent going to run it 24/7, leaving it on tickover is bad too ( for a car ). ever turned on an electric cooker and heard it making "pinking" sounds? or when you turn the car engine off on a cold day you hear the same thing, we are talking about large lumpy metal things here that are designed to withstand heat expansion, a pc isnt, and the parts inside can be thinner than a human hair..

[b:a7060526cd]drewdatrip[/b:a7060526cd] -you think yours is loud, try this:

1- 120mm blowfan on top

2- 80mm fans in front

2- 80mm fans in the rear

1- 80mm fan on the side

1- blue orb on the chipset

1- blue orb on the vid card

1- delta 7200 rpm fan on CPU

You would go nuts just hearing my PC on.

I remember when I was a teenager...it was who had the most bass coming out of their car...now it's the loudest computer? Well, mines loud enough for me...no thanks on adding any more fans! BTW--I usually leave mine on all the time but things start to screw up after a while so I have to reboot and I shut down overnight sometimes.
