I,ve been having heaps of problems with internet explorer, links doing nothing when I click them. Some links work fine other just refuse to go anywhere. So after reinstalling java, virtual machine, putting on the latest update and still no success I decide to reinstall internet explorer. The reinstallation went fine, it works a little better but the problem still persists. As part of the fix I used the system file checker and ran a scannow, which inveriably took away some of the non sign drivers. I lost the video drivers and went to reinstall them, now whislt I managed to get a older version of my leadtek A280le drivers on, everytime I go to install the new version I'm getting a warning saying interface not registered. Any ideas on how I can resolve this problem as it is s***ting me big time. Also any ideas on my internet explorer woes would be helpful as well, thanks. BTW Windows XP Pro SP1 with IE6 &SP1

I have the Leadtek A280td with My Vivo, Supports TV in and out. Have had it all set up for many months and it works like a dream. Can record shows directly from the TV or DVD or Handycam and can playback from the Computer to the TV without any problems. Sounds like you might want to have a look on the manufacturers website and see if there is any further software and drivers that you need. The TV capture part of the card install's numerous drivers in order to enable it to work. Good luck

It's great to finally find out why i was getting that bloody error. I've had it for months and sought help many times but no one seemed to know, even had to install an add & remove prog so i could uninstall stuff. Thx for enlightening me.

Well I gave the system file checker a run fthrjack, but still no luck. It's got me buggered what has caused it but it's sure as hell annoying. Thanks for the help if you have more suggestions that would be great, BTW system restore is not an option as i have put to many prog's on since it happened and it would be a real pain in the arse to loose all that stuff. If not I guess a format is in order, which would be a shame as the OS wasn't installed all that long ago.

Hopefully someone can help me with an error I have been getting recently. Not sure what program I installed but whatever it was it has created an error when i try and enter add & remove via the control panel. The error Value creation failed at line 472. I have run check disk and also done a repair via the recovery console but still it persists. any ideas, any help greatly appreciated Thx.

Just trying to help a m8. when he installs the latest version and even with the L version he is getting this D:\Source\TGTSoft\Common\tgtSec\tgtSecprovider.cpp(591):0xC0040409 error as the installer runs. It has me beat, does anyone have any ideas as to what may be causing it. Downloaded the program again just incase the first was corrupt but thats not the answer. Any help would ber great.

Hopefully someone has encountered this problems before, it has me beat. I installed the service pack and all went well, then the other day I upgrade zonealarm to the new version, but I had some problems and decided to go back to the previous version. Thats when the trouble began, now I can't access most of the icons in the control panel. If I click on them, doesn't matter which one, bar a couple nothing comes up. Anyone have an idea.

I have a copy of the corp edition running and have had it since the final rtm was released. I used the blue list keygen to obtain a key which I tested and made sure i obtained a key that returned a xxxxx640xxxxxxxx test result. I have since installed sp1 and i must say apart from a couple of problems related to style XP and the uxtheme.dll, i have had no trouble at all. Updates appear to work fine. Just relating my experiences in case it interests anyone who plans on doing the same. Will certainly be interesting to see how it works with the final relaese of sp1

delete reference to the above I've found the problem. Turns out that an irca filter i installed to stop the kiddies receiving all that s*** whilst browsing was the cause of the problem. All fixed, i uninstalled the mongrel.

I installed the serive pack the other day and all appeared to go well. However now when i try to access the add & remove function in the control panel I get an error. This was not the case when I first updated, it was working properly. I am getting the following error. parser message: value creation failed" at line 471 does anyone have any ideas as to what may have caused this problem. I am using XP pro corporate with a valid key and everything else on the os seems to work fine. The only thing I have done recently was to purge the dllcache in system32 folder in order to overwrite the uxtheme.dll file. I don't think this would have caused the problem but if anyone can shead any light I would appreciate the help
