Wicket20519
New poll: should CD-ROM and audio functionality be a default, or as an addon?Default. Will there be chocolate flavoured and mint flavoured versions?
Aegis
@Wicket20519Nope. But there will be a benchmarking edition available . I was looking at the 4GHz overclock on the FX-57 by k|ngp|n (http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/showthread.php?t=85695) and noticed his OS wasn't tweaked. Of course, many people started recommending different tweaks like "EnableSuperFetch" and a bunch of other tweaks that didn't work, so naturally I wanted to create something for benchmarkers who just need a few extra milliseconds . Aegis
Progress slower than I expected over the last two days. But check the first post for a surprise . Also, I wanted to give you guys an example of the types of tweaks I'm working on. There is absolutely no documentation on this, but yet this tweak works . To remove the tweak, open the file in Notepad and replace the first entry with "DoubleDpi"=-.doubledpi.reg Edited February 21, 2006 by Aegis
ripken204
can you explain what that tweak does? increased framerates?
Aegis
@Ripken204I don't think it'll have any effect other than blurring your monitor, unless you have a high DPI (dots per inch) monitor.
