for the bootscreen, what do i do with bootskin.ini?

in the first post there isn't any allusion to a bootskin.ini file, i think that comes with stardock's app bootskin but i don't make use of it

ok....i replaced the bitmaps of my original boot screen with the ones you provided and my boot screen looks weird

first, it looks normail, then it turns all black and weird colors

@lilweirddude this is because of the palette, you can manually modify it (i've seen in this forum how to do it hex editing) or you can do a little search for bootedit that it was the program i used

I make a unattended xp,but have not second reboot ,who can help me!

the restart is because i add a command to the end of runonce

shutdown.exe -r -f -t 30 -c "Windows se reiniciara en 30 segundos..."

some of my apps need a reboot after the installation is completed.

Symon, tu cree posible que puedas colocar una imagen en iso o algo parecido en un ftp, o en un torrent etc.???

Yo ya he terminado un Cd desatendido, pero revisando tu post, he visto que este es increible, y me gustaria crear uno así.

on first post you can mostly download resources. everything there (except the winntbbu file that contains spanish strings) can be used on your english xp. enjoy!

Red reboot is second reboot,but i have not , I have this picture to setting up windows,i had to do it

i had to manualy restart my system to get the autologo and runonceex running at the next boot!

i modified a winbbu.dl_ file

steps:-

1.extracted by winrar

2.using exescope i extracted bitmap image.and edited it in paintbrush

3.modified it as per requirement(mean colour depth)

4.again i imported that file(bitmap) to winntbbu.dll

5.using makecab command i packed it.

but when i start installing.installation said file can not be copied

you don't need to cab winntbbu.dll, drop it to i386 folder

DOES ANYONE HAVE THE NTOSKRNL.EXE, MSGINA.DLL, and LOGONUI.EXE with SiMoNsAyS's resources or pictures?
