October 4, 200421 yr Author ECHO Instalando Serials 2000 ECHO Por favor espera... start /wait %CDROM%\Software\Serials\Serials.exe /sWhat's this for, SiMoNsAyS? if you ask it i'm sure you know what it is let's say that it's a custom installation packed in a rar-sfx
October 5, 200421 yr if you ask it i'm sure you know what it is This is not necessarily true. I hear about AIDS but I don't have it. B)

October 5, 200421 yr I'm surprised your winnt.sif even works because it begins with ';SetupMgrTag'. Winnt.sif should only begin with [Data].
October 5, 200421 yr Author I'm surprised your winnt.sif even works because it begins with ';SetupMgrTag'. Winnt.sif should only begin with [Data].??? it does not matter if it starts with ";SetupMgrTag", ";SiMoNsAyS" or ";esp". if the first character of a line is ";", it won't be used. also ";SetupMgrTag" it's the default first line of winnt.sif files created with setup manager from deploy tools so if it's from m$ it's ok
October 6, 200421 yr Yes, I thought so too, untill I got several BSOD's and winnt 'no-go's' from text -mode setup. After removing the ;SetupMgrTag it was solved.Strange, but acceptable given most Microsoft software have twists I installed Guireplacer1.4 and placed the icons in the modules folder but i can't start Guireplacer, I get some error of a script in Internet Explorer. Maybe not SP2 ready?Do you know of any other Guireplacer tool? (for use with the gand icons)Thanks
October 6, 200421 yr Author @esp that it's really strange probably it wasn't because of the first line, probably it was because of the different position of other lines dunno
October 6, 200421 yr Could you also answer this question please?I installed Guireplacer1.4 and placed the Gand icons .dll in the modules folder but i can't start Guireplacer, I get some error of a script in Internet Explorer. Maybe Guireplacer1.4 is not SP2 ready?Do you know of any other Guireplacer tool? (for use with the gand icons)Thanks
October 6, 200421 yr Author @shamshasan thanks @esp the screenshot of the 1st page it's from newly installed sp2 and works perfect for me. i'm not sure about the IE thing... maybe you removed something like IE core or IE main application dunno. anyway try it in a clean copy of xp and then silently install guireplacer.sorry i don't know about any other replacer tool, perhaps manual edit with reshacker?
