bledd Posted June 8, 2005 Posted June 8, 2005 can the Compression Bin be put on the Advanced section of the unattended guide? -with Jcarle's permission, its one of the most useful and hard to find tools on msfn!
Alphaz Posted June 20, 2005 Posted June 20, 2005 That's great, but that's a shame we can see only the first setup screen...
Xable Posted June 27, 2005 Posted June 27, 2005 jcarle, Wow... Compression Bin is exactly what i`ve been lookin for. I notice that after using the right click option Compression Bin stays open and i have to close it manualy. Would be better i think if it`s possible, to close itself when it`s done. I think evilvoice and kelsenellenelvian would like this too.Thank you so much for this tool, you have made my day.
jcarle Posted July 23, 2005 Author Posted July 23, 2005 I'm going to did into my source code for compression bin and see what I can do about it.Wondering though, anyone here code in C#?
Xable Posted July 25, 2005 Posted July 25, 2005 (edited) Hello jcarle, i think also an option to choose the text in the right click entry. You can edit it manualy in the registry but Compression Bin changes it back the next time you open it.btw, I think nuhi uses C# Edited July 25, 2005 by Neanderthal
Xable Posted July 25, 2005 Posted July 25, 2005 when you right click a file and you get option "Send To Compression Bin"
dziubek Posted July 25, 2005 Posted July 25, 2005 Compress<{POST_SNAPBACK}>I add to suggestion Neanderthal also ...context menu will not be such widedziubek
ratgod Posted August 24, 2005 Posted August 24, 2005 Very nice tool, this has been one that many have been waiting for, good luck for future versions.Do you know if there is anyway I can use this to re-compress my Windows and/or office installations to a higher compression without corrupting them or otherwise making the setups complain?this would be extra handy
cheezus420 Posted August 24, 2005 Posted August 24, 2005 (edited) jcarle, Just discovered your compression bin program. WOW, thanks a S#$& load for making that. What a time saver. Keep up the good work man!!! I look forward to trying out some of your other programs!!! Edited August 24, 2005 by cheezus420
jcarle Posted August 25, 2005 Author Posted August 25, 2005 I'm hoping to get the time soon to rebuild a new version of the compression bin completely from scratch.
