Saxon Posted March 18 Posted March 18 In the 30 y.o. DEll 2407, the white colour is unpleasant to begin with, not to mention the jaw breaking tear and wear it suffered after all those decades of such extensive usage, I'm not surprised @NotHereToPlayGames doesn't see the clear difference in favour of Brave. https://www.dell.com/community/en/conversations/monitors/2407wfp-hc-or-maybe-2407wfpb-colour-problems/647e8e21f4ccf8a8de258ddb I understand Brave is more "dirty" with spying,
NotHereToPlayGames Posted March 18 Posted March 18 That's the 2nd person to claim I have a Dell 2407. I do not! But nice try. My mistake for not correcting the 1st person, I suppose. I forgot how close-nit the "posse" is. 1

But I'm also "patient", been watching the project since day one, but it's still not matured to where it fits my needs. I remain optimistic.

I hate the default gray just as much as the acid blue. I have my own theme. My biggest gripe with Chrome for several years is that 99% of my programs all match each other as far as title bar colors and then 1% (Chrome) thinks it has to be different. *NOT ON MY SYSTEM*, I use a theme to make Chrome match my other 99%.

It's impossible. Oh! So the *agenda* here on this Circle Jerk Discussion is for the developer of Supermium to go out and get the same exact video driver, the same exact monitor, the same exact everything, so that all the rest of us no longer have to listen to the BIATCH AND MOAN about "brightness" that shows up every three weeks and lands itself in every topic from media players to web browsers. 2
Jody Thornton Posted March 18 Posted March 18 (edited) How are you folks getting the new Supermium to look more like the older R7 release, as far as tabs are concerned? My tabs lokk really "tall" and spaced apart. Any help is appreciated. Just looking for perhaps, a flag to change. Also, there are spaces now between the tabs. Edited March 18 by Jody Thornton

Try to use --classic-omnibox --classic-omnibox-border --compact-ui 1
Jody Thornton Posted March 18 Posted March 18 Thanks @hidao Unfortunately that did not work. My tabs are now extending to the top of the titlebar, whereas before, they only went three-quarters the way up. I'll keep trying other flags. Cheers!

Why would I lie about something like that? Anyway, here is a link to a Github bug, with one of them showing a Windows 7 machine exhibiting the same symptoms. https://github.com/win32ss/supermium/issues/1263 Scroll down the page ... See the image? That's what I had. Anyway, I went back to R7. 2 hours ago, D.Draker said: @Jody Thornton is a trusted member, moi fellow Canadian friend, there's no reason not to trust Jody. NotHereToPlayGames Posted March 19 Posted March 19 I have not witnessed this but I do not "pin" tabs. That bit of detail was KEY to this and nobody seems to have cited that tabs were being PINNED. So my curiousity would be this - does the issue self-correct if you UNPIN the tabs, exit and relaunch, then PIN them again? 1
