What security settings would these be? ... in the browser profile or at the MSFN site profile?

It is a built-in safety feature derived from older Firefox architecture designed to protect your system from unverified files and drive-by downloads.

This is the direct downlad link for using context menu entry "Save as" or installing diectly via clicking onto it: https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/downloads/file/4098688/user_agent_string_switcher-0.5.0.xpi
This is the version history: https://addons.mozilla.org/de/firefox/addon/user-agent-string-switcher/versions/

I was able to get UA installed with the second link. The first link just doesn't work for me with the security settings.

I will have to spend some time with it to understand the correct settings.

Thanks ...

Access denied  (v. 78.0.30)

I can't confirm that. Works here fine. Just tested.

All of Codeberg.org at the moment for me.

As I’ve already mentioned, I’ve had no problems accessing Codeberg from Germany. It works fine here. I've just tested it again.

Why does this video -> https://obejrzyj.to/watch/368087 (and all videos on this website) play in slow motion in the website player?
What's wrong with Windows (XP), with the MyPal/Windows codecs, with Java, with anything you know that I don't?

if these are the answers, maybe we'll go a different way and some master will respond....

So:  does everything contained in this link apply to maypal68? -> https://msfn.org/board/topic/175591-enable-mp4-h264-aac-html5-video-in-firefox-on-windows-xp-without-flash/

  • 2 weeks later...

The site is badly overbloated and videos does not play at all on any browser, so I can't help with it.

Let one more else figure out, particularly about BATTERY

MyPal does not need Firefox <52.9.0 ESR instructions as there is codec support including h264.
