He really don't want to develop this requested feature, and instead add features that 1/2 users requested, maybe it's too much work for him ... 1
user92843535 Posted December 16, 2024 Posted December 16, 2024 Hey, is there a way to hide this bar when using the Win7 Command Bar? I believe it's called Ribbon. If not, could this be added as a feature request? 1

If you dislike it, you may select Win10 Ribbon UI and hide the ribbon (but unfortunately not its titles) by double-clicking on the current ribbon's title.

Using the enhanced classic Start menu should let it show at the intended location.
Gon Posted December 17, 2024 Posted December 17, 2024 A major feature which is missing in the new versions is the ability to drag and drop files to pin them on the application icon of the taskbar. I'd like to see this implemented in the future. 1
Uiti P. Uszer Posted December 18, 2024 Posted December 18, 2024 Feature Request: I would really be stoked if Taskbar Icon Size had a setting in between Large and Extra Large called Medium Large. Even on 2K monitors the XL icon setting is too big and all the other icon sizes are too small at 2K for my liking..
Vimes Posted December 18, 2024 Posted December 18, 2024 (edited) Sent you a PM with a dropbox link for two dmp files related to crashes. I assume that is the best way to send those to you ..? Edited December 18, 2024 by Vimes
Xao_Fan-Tzilin Posted December 19, 2024 Posted December 19, 2024 SAB - 3.8.13, system 27764, - auto-hide taskbar does not work.
Game Posted December 20, 2024 Posted December 20, 2024 (edited) Feature Request: Would you consider invoke default Windows search bar in the start menu? In Windows search bar, I can simply type "note" to find Notepad or "reg" to find the Registry Editor, but in the search bar provided by StartAllBack, I need to type the full name to find system applications, and some UWP apps like Calculator can't be found even with the full name, while Windows search bar can find Calculator with just "calc". Tihiy Posted December 20, 2024 Author Posted December 20, 2024 Why, those are found for me. You can set 'Use search flyout for more results'.
radiotech1 Posted December 20, 2024 Posted December 20, 2024 (edited) I have discovered a problem with StartAllBack on my Windows 11 24H2. The last windows update I received was KB5043080 a few days ago. If StartAllBack is enable, and I try to create a new folder in file explorer the new folder doesn't show up. I have discovered that if I use the back arrow and go to the previous folder and then use the forward arrow to go back, the new folder shows up. The same problem exists for the copy and past functions. I have tried using the menu buttons as well as the ctrl c and ctl v and same problem. If I disable StartAllBack, the file explorer functions as normal. I am running StartAllBack Version 3.8.13. Any ideas how to fix the problem. It has previously worked so may be the windows update has caused the problem. Also, I have 32gb of ram and 22gb is free. Edited December 20, 2024 by radiotech1 Spelling error

That is an occasional Windows bug that was in Win 10 also and not related to SAB. It annoyed me when it happened to, but you can refresh the File Explorer window (with the cycle button) and your new folder should show up.

radiotech1 Posted December 21, 2024 Posted December 21, 2024 Ok that's interesting. I turned SAB back on and everything is working normal again.
