Hello there..

I have only used v13 a few times and went back to v12 (which works very well overall); but I am starting to think, unless you guys are updating/patching  (so to speak, of course) , then perhaps, I should upgrade to v13.5 and am trying it today. Thus far, much improved sound and response when changing from 1 video to the next. Much better. Funny because I'm trying to catch up here and I'm seeing people having issues with deleting form local storage ( I leave the directory in place but delete Local Storage\leveldb and I'm not having issued .. but also I don't need to save anything when I'm done.

I've been using your default:

[RunAfter]
DirRemove=%Profile%\safemon|e
DirRemove=%Profile%\Webstore Downloads|e
DirRemove=%Profile%\BrowserMetrics*
DirRemove=%Profile%\ShaderCache
DirRemove=%Profile%\GrShaderCache\GPUCache
DirRemove=%Profile%\GrShaderCache|e
FileDelete=%Profile%\*-journal*;chrome_shutdown_ms*;switch_core*;*.log;Last *
FileDelete=%Profile%\Default\*.tmp;*-journal;log;log.old;*.log
FileDelete=.\Chrome\Application\*.log;*.tmp
DirRemove=%Profile%\Default\Code Cache
DirRemove=%Profile%\Default\GPUCache
DirRemove=%Profile%\Default\Media Cache
DirRemove=%Profile%\Default\Pepper Data
DirRemove=%Profile%\Default\DailyBackup
DirRemove=%Profile%\Default\File System
DirRemove=%Profile%\Default\Service Worker\CacheStorage

And used ccleaner to empty the other directories.

Again, learning here still. The only problem I'm running into is with

360ChromePortable_13.5.1030_rebuild_3_ungoogled\Chrome\Application\13.5.1030.0\sslblock.zip\sslblock.html

This is not in English. I've deleted it and just get a blank page. I'm still having certificate issues that I don't have in v12 for some reason.

I prefer v11 99% of the time.  I use v12 every once in a while and v12 actually scores higher on pretty much every benchmark score you can throw at these browsers.

BUT v11's GUI loads in a THIRD of the time that v12's GUI loads and that's more important to me than the very slight benchmark difference.

My local copy of v13.5 uses this ("string" values below correspond to extension IDs) --

Do you ENABLE this in Options -> Advanced?

In one DcBrowser.exe process I've seen its service: emule-ext ... it's extended emule protocol (queue rating, file reask ping) - is it secure?

Then it disappeared...

From the web:

"eMule is a file-sharing program that uses so-called peer-to-peer (P2P) techniques, i.e. it does not rely on a central server. eMule supports all connected computers and establishes their connection...."

Were you in the process of downloading something at the time?  If so, there may be a hidden API "download manager" being used by DcBrowser.

K ... so this is your build (of course), I just changed the skin and found this light version works. Yeah, I know, you thought I was just a dark skin fan ... I changed it depending on my mood (which changes from day to day ... Lol)

I use:

--ssl-version-min=tls1.2

And still, having certificate issues with some sites with ghacks and https://freemusicarchive.org/

Anyway ... will report back another time with any issues. Will just post this for now while I'm (somewhat) alert :)

Works very well and I'm looking forward to continued development and I'm impressed! Still haning on to Serpent (as you can see) but seems like Chrome IS our future going forward ... whether we like it, or not.

Good night all..

I can add that skin as one of the options for a future "Builder".  If I recall, that skin works very well with the rest of my GUI modifications - the only real reason I disabled it is more for "uniformity" with basically ALL other software on my computer, personal preference.  I've never understood why Chrome got rid of the "title bar".  I can understand back when a 17" square monitor was pretty much standard and all it could do was 1280x1024 and that "title bar" used half an inch of real estate.  But nowadays with widescreen monitors basically running 1920x1080 or higher, that "title bar" is half the size of what it was on a 17" square monitor.  Not like the days when we were running 800x600 and 25 pixels for a "title bar" was 4.2% of our vertical real estate.  Contrast with 2.3% for 1920x1080.

Actually, what strikes me as funny is that you took the time to "whiteout" the taskbar icon between Serpent and Windows Calculator.  :ph34r:

Gosh ... its hard to get 1 by you.

Seriously, though, I was under the impression that even showing a newmoon icon antagonized MCP and I don't wish to do so at all. I guess we have to be causious per the drama going on over there as I don't want to add to any trouble for us here. Perhaps I should have not even posted this.

Oh, and, that is real "whiteout" on the screen ... I used up almost a whole bottle just on that pic. I am blonde ... no not really :D

And I knew that was the icon you were hiding, I would have bet money on it  :buehehe:

Regarding Dev Tools reverting to Chinese in versions newer than v13 build 2206  --  new incognito window Dev Tools will also always revert to Chinese.
Exists in original Chinese so carries over to anybody-and-everybody that rebuilds anything newer than v13 build 2206.
Have not found any way to hard code default to English.
