Onboard, but win32 mentioned that bug when he released March 6 build, and fixed it in March 9 one.

Looks like you and win32 are both sitting on on-board audio, I didn't have the mentioned issue with either of his versions, but I run a very old dedicated card, 15 years or so.

I also had this problem, at the time I was using the integrated Realtek ALC889A

That's what I thought! Another onboard user. Do we have someone with a dedicated sound card, except me? A normal Pci-e or PCI card.

Well, now I have kernel installed on HP HDX 16 laptop from 2008 (On-board Realtek card). The best thing in this laptop is that it came with pre-installed Vista x64, so I can use the original Vista from recovery partition with Extended Kernel after installing all updates (thanks to Legacy Update for getting Windows Update service working again.

I can try with Soundblaster SB0220 :)

BTW after installing the March 6 version, you can redirect userenv.dll from the March 9 version for Chromium-based applications where the sound does not work, and it will be fixed.

Could you please try with your sound card and this extended kernel?

I described the problem here.

Thank you!

Anyone can help me with symbols in WinDbg?

I have a little problem in one of my computers - I need to debug Hardware-related BSODs, but WinDbg gives me a message:

Unable to load image \SystemRoot\system32\ntoskrnl.exe, Win32 error 0n2

And gives me the Bucket ID WRONG_SYMBOLS

I don't want to uninstall Extended Kernel

I'm using WinDbg version 6.11.0001.404
