On startup you will get error from bcrypt.dll missing but it will start just fine.
Bcrypt.dll was on vista and newer. To get around in
delete libssl-1_1.dll and libcrypto-1_1.dll on DVBViewer directory

You may also consider substituting the XP-incompatible openssl 1.1.1.x files with XP-compatible ones, like I advised for SUMo previously in this thread:

he also compiles and hosts XP-compatible versions of openssl-1.1.1, last one he's got available is 1.1.1i:

https://rwijnsma.home.xs4all.nl/files/openssl/openssl-1.1.1i-win32-xpmod-sse.7z

(i.e. not the very latest, which is 1.1.1j, but it'll do fine for SUMo purposes...).

My suggestion thus is to download linked package, extract the two DLLs (libcrypto-1_1.dll+libssl-1_1.dll) and overwrite those provided with...

Not tested here (XP is unavailable) ... ;) BTW, the latest openssl 1.1.1 official release now is at version 1.1.1k (file versions 1.1.1.11)

I just realized it is possible to use zoom (as in videoconference) in XP. You can donwload the installer at https://zoom.us/download, which is Client v. 5.6.3 for newer windows, 5.0.2 for XP.

It is not portable [creates a c:\users\yourname\appdata], but you can extract ZoomInstallerXP.exe, and then unzip the folder "ZoomFull.cab".  You can then move the contents of the "bin" subfolder (inside the extracted ZoomFull folder), to a directory of your choice, and adapt the reg file below with your path.

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main\FeatureControl\FEATURE_BROWSER_EMULATION]
"Zoom.exe"=dword:00002af8

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Classes\.zoommtg]
@="ZoomLauncher"
"Content Type"="application/x-zoommtg-launcher"

Does anyone know where to find the full "offline" installer or portable last version of googleearth pro? I do not want to use an online installer (an installer that downloads from google). Thanks!

What do you actually mean by "last" ?
If you want the "last" version to install and run on XP, then I, sadly, don't know exactly what that is... :(
Recent versions of the application require at least a Win7 (and, preferably, 64-bit) host machine ...
FWIW, one can download official offline (standalone) installers for GEP v7.3.3/7.3.2./7.3.1/7.1.8 from:

https://support.google.com/earth/answer/168344?hl=en

Quote

The Pro versions of Google Earth 6.0 and earlier are no longer supported.
Google Earth Pro 7.1.5 and earlier requires a license key.
If you do not have a key, use your email address and the key GEPFREE to sign in

FileHippo (and similar sites) have archived even older versions, try/use at your own risk...

HitmanPro v3.8.22 build 316 seems no longer compatible with Windows XP:

100.jpg

At the moment I have blocked the update with the rule in the hosts file, but I don't know if it is a valid solution with a product of these characteristics:

0.0.0.0 files.surfright.nl

P.S. Cloud scan seems to work.:)

Edit

Downloading the new build solved the problem.:thumbup

He, I meant latest. 7.3.3.

Filehippo and similar list it as XP compatible. But the offline versions I have found do not run on XP.

The online version does run, but I do not want to blindly install google software because it installs other things (like googleupdate). And I dislike the spyware character that I assume those things may have.

EDIT: @VistaLover was right. 7.1.8 is the last (as different to latest) version running in XP

I did not see the word "webex" in any of the 43 pages on this thread - does anyone know the last version of WebEx to work on XP?

I have not tried it, and I do not know if it would require the instalation of a desktop client, but the firefox addon can be installed in Basilisk 52

I did try an extention from the Chrome Web Store by the same name in 360Chrome and it did not work.

I will try sometime this week in a Mozilla-based browser and see if that works.
