NoelC Posted November 19, 2015 Posted November 19, 2015 Since several of you have asked for colorless versions, here you go... http://Noel.ProDigitalSoftware.com/ForumPosts/Win10/10586/SquareCornersNoExtraColor10586.zip Note that it's difficult, without help from the theme atlas graphics, to get enough color to differentiate the foreground window from the others with the current coloration logic in bigmuscle's software alone. I know bigmuscle was experimenting with an alternate method; I'll have to go look that up again and try it. Speaking of which... Bigmuscle, have you considered updating your GUI tool lately to include that option? That tool is the only one I use to adjust color and transparency any more. -Noel 2
Blonk Posted November 19, 2015 Posted November 19, 2015 (edited) Still getting the watermark on vlc fullscreen here. You using #506 Yes, I downloaded 506.7z from "Beta #506 (32bit+64bit) (Updated on 17th November 2015)" on the TH2 page. I tried downloading it again to be sure, and I have rebooted each time. The datestamp on the DWMGlassxx.dll files are both Nov 17th in my C:\AeroGlass folder. Edit: I have Windows 10 Pro build 10586 x64 Edited November 19, 2015 by Blonk
iweksler Posted November 19, 2015 Posted November 19, 2015 iweksler: do I understand that this happens only with that dock application? Is this application free and is it possible to download it somewhere? It happens not only with this app, although much less. And daveo76 is right. I'm using the unpaid version. Although I'd prefer still more transparancy.
NoelC Posted November 19, 2015 Posted November 19, 2015 You don't have the Opacity slider quite all the way down on 0. The "light" gradient shading at the top of the title bar adds a bit of needed elegance IMO. -Noel

I am using latest 506 beta build and latest win8rp atlas for Win10 (my system is x64 Win10 ver 1511 10586.11). I had that problem before. groomp Posted November 19, 2015 Posted November 19, 2015 (edited) Thanks Noel, the colourless atlas is quite good. Edited November 20, 2015 by groomp
NoelC Posted November 19, 2015 Posted November 19, 2015 No, it is not normal, and can be removed if you wish. I actually remove all of those borders! I started with BigMuscle's original .layout file, for which that's expected behavior, so yes, it's expected - but perhaps not wanted. What entries do you tweak to remove the border from the Windows Start Menu and Notifications pull-out, dhjohns? Since the border there is not blurred I might prefer to remove it or at least make it smaller -Noel

This is how it looks your layout file with clsharp_v4.2, i have no experience with this things, i just simply save your files as clsharp_v4.2.png.layout and put it in C:\AeroGlass, the result was something strange, but, i like it, the corners are dark and are bent inward, is this normal? Yes, that is normal. I get same thing. I was surprised by the effect like you, but I do like it.
iweksler Posted November 20, 2015 Posted November 20, 2015 You don't have the Opacity slider quite all the way down on 0. The "light" gradient shading at the top of the title bar adds a bit of needed elegance IMO. -NoelGot it. I agree, you surely need some sacrifice in opacity to have this gradient. And it's surely worth it. Thanks for a great theme.
