KernelEx for Win2000

Recommended Posts

Hi Everyone, I have been trying to install v27, but it says I need the DNS Client update "kb957579" and Microsoft no longer has it on their site.
Does anyone know where I can get it?

Windows2000-KB957579-x86-enu.exe was replaced by Windows2000-KB951748-v2-x86-enu.exe, AFAIK.

I have added InitializeCriticalSectionEx to Kerenal32.dll to make Adobe acrobetDC to work but failed it again showed not a valid win32Application. then i understood MS is playing trick to prevent running of Acrobet.

Windows2000-KB957579-x86-enu.exe or  Windows2000-KB951748-v2-x86-enu.exe  or MS14-070-KB957579-v3-x86-INTL.exe include it.

Perhaps you fail to install these updates.

How can i check that also how can i change that to nt5.1

Extended kernel already had been removed this check code.

So, You can execute even simple application for Windows NT 255.0.

If you get on extended kernel , Perhaps the binary is broken.
