  1. Windows Backup can make a VHD of your OS to use as a backup. It can then be restored using the same program. You'll find it in the control panel in Windows 7.
  2. Even Server 2008 R2 is capable of accepting a UEFI (Itanium EFI) PXE boot, but no hardware supports it. What hardware are you using that has a UEFI Boot Rom on it? I'd like to know because the lack of such hardware is holding back a couple of my projects.
  3. The Administrator account is disabled by default. You have no code enabling it in your XML, so it can't be used with AutoLogon.
  4. OK just asking since this topic seems misplaced then. I have not tried using Exchange or a physical email client in a domain before. I'm looking up some things, check them out. I don't know if they are of any help. http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc178946.aspx http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?displaylang=en&id=16760
  5. It sounds like you are trying to copy files from a different OS?
  6. I think printer companies may be jumping the gun with all these new WiFi printers. I don't think the common userbase is quite ready for it. In each case I've had to deal with them, I just connect it via USB and do it the old fashioned way.
  7. AFAIK, there are no PXE Boot ROMs that support a UEFI boot action. You can only do a UEFI boot from HDD, USB (sometimes) or ODD.
  8. I found that to be annoying I had downloaded the new one and everything was the same except the WIMs.
  9. Try running the previous command with the /wait. It is possible that the your EXE needs to use a process that is locked by a previous command. While it may add some extra time, I've learned to run all my commands with a wait on it.
  10. Have you looked at handling this on the email server instead of the client?
  11. I have definately heard of this before, but since it works in Windows 98, you probably don't need to check the jumpers. Although it may be worth noting whether or not they are running in master/slave or cable select mode. My first recommendation would be to install the latest chipset driver for your motherboard.

I use the non-aero theme at work at all times since I figured it out. Its not worth the trouble.

  16. The WAIK for Windows 7 is the latest, even though it was released in 2009. The link is here: http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?id=5753 There was no update to the WAIK for Windows 7 SP1.

While Aero is supported by my video card (at work) I had similar problems with Windows display after a period of time, however none of these problems happen if I switch to Classic mode. I think that Windows 7 will allow the user to use Aero for any video card with at least 128MB VRAM, even if the card itself can't 100% handle the transparencies, transitions and other effects.
  18. Better than 7PRO, no, capable of things beyond what is possible without modding? Yes.

  20. On some motherboards, chipset heatsinks are held in place by metal braces, but those are held down by plastic clips. Check to see if any of your heatsinks are loose too.
  21. There is usually a checkbox to include sub folders. What OS are you using?
  22. Not really concerned with that window opening. Techs will only see it, never the end-user.
  23. Watched Tron last night for the first time ever. Great sound.
