I'm sure we all will look forward to your project. I have been following Barts PE from version 3.03 & have gained much knowledge from his work.

I could be wrong but I think hes talking about the CD shell boot folder?

There no easy way to convert an upgrade version to a full version but what I did on my Multi boot creation for ME upgrade was to include the 98se cab file on the disc along with the full version of win98se & other os. You simply point ME to this file in setup. Maybe someone else here would have an easier way?

I have been using that boot screen made from that guide for many months works very well & looks the part.

OK I think you have said enough. I still think this work is impressive, however its a pity the concept cannot be shared with out compromising your position. What does your employer say about posting this work?Anyway its basically a fancy menu for pe at any rate.

We need more information ERD2002/2003 is basically the same as win pe & Bart pe. Maybe post your structure or check out Flyakites guide read half a dozen times if required.

But Armydoc I think he could achieve the same thing using the standard multiboot layout as the guide & just change the the respective winnt.sif to call the various cmd to install the apps, tweaks etc.

Yeah well I read somewhere to include the cd ident in both. But it doesn't really matter as CDimage takes care of that at any rate. But Armydoc Im sure your Screen shot will do the trick.

Yes well maybe it should work, I had trouble with your method I've had more success with the method in Flyakites guide at least works for me. If I were you check through these threads especially Armydocs screenie of his Dir structure to ensure nothings missing from yours. I had nothing but trouble making mine till I found PM8 building floppies & certain files were missing no idea? Hope this helps

Compared to my layout you appear to have quite a few files missing? Basically everything from your original Bart PE must be in the root of BPE1 including all the files from the bart I386 folder as well. I also put the cd ident files in the root & the BPE1. Hope that helps

OK How are you injecting the second floppy into winimage? Should select all drag & drop into the winimage PM8 dir then save as ie PM8 as an ima file.

I'm sure most of us would be happy with that. The only other thing to mind would be a more in depth third party app guide ie Ghost, PM8 would be of interest.

Yes looks OK what about your BPE1 ) Folders structure?

Yes mine gave the shell & some programs. Maybe you could post your Dir structure. I also made mine from scratch & compiled with CD image.

My recomendation if your Barts pe worked previously would be to remake it again following the steps carefully on the multiboot. Programs folder must be in the root. I had a similar problem & was just a matter of rebuilding it over again.

Thanks Doc I looked at your site this morning & tried to open your cd shell section but your site said these pages were unavailable for some reason I'll try it again & post. EDIT: Doc was just able to download your CDShell.zip you certainly have some gear packed into your multiboot DVD. I would still be keen on your input to Alanolls upgraded guide in English though, the site looks excellent.

Please try searching this forum & the unattended area & also Flyakites guide. The search button is the best one to start.
