Yeah man if I go in after install open display properties my bliss.jpg wallpaper is in the list & can be manually selected & works ok but not auto after install first reboot etc.

Fished around & tested but wandering if anyone else has noticed this.The Bliss.jpg which normally is the default paper in xp does not appear only standard blue screen. I have basically Rebuilt my unattended disk using sp2 with NLite using RyanVMs hotfix pack & have not removed themes wallpapers or savers, have not used any regtweaks in this regard or deleted any of these entrys in my main batch file. Could anyone throw some light my way would be appreciated?

Just curious since I upgraded to sp2 noticed my metapad/notepad replacement does not seem to install unattendly was fine in sp1? Just installed your latest pack with the 1.01 addon into my multiboot disk all the previous problems with the comp. progs have gone all installing & working fine thanks for your great work RyanVM.

Regarding the compression program problem. I followed your guide integrating the pack & manually nliting put it together with my OEM structure for unattended ran in Virtual PC all other programs installed & ran ok but the three comp. progs would not install & run? I realize VPC won't install & run certain programs but this has not been the case previously with these comp. programs. I installed the new disk on my test machine with the same result. I'll manually install these programs & see if the problem persists.

Maybe something Im doing wrong but just found similar problem as posted earlier regarding all my compression progs Winzip,Winrar & 7Zip they are basically either not installing or not working where they did previously on my unattended disc? Sorry!!

Just tested your new pack & its working superbly. Thanks RyanVM for another excellent package & look forward to better integrating this into Nlite.

Will it work on the free version six as well? Im presently using autoit.

Have a search I asked the same question & have succesfully included that in my unattended dvd which I used the first time on Saturday to reformat my machine installing sp2 with all my apps inc Publisher.

Thanks Xtrememac if I go the way of the switch port whats involved in setting it up. I looked at couple & they both did not appear to have any instruction & their sites were a little lacking. Im running xp sp2 on both machines.

If someone could recomend a simple solution for my network setup. I would like to network both my machines & share my cable internet. I have both machines in remote rooms & my cable modem also in a remote location not close to either machine, the network cable from the modem runs directly to my main machine. I have another cable run directly from machine B to the modem so if necessary either one can be manually configured to access the internet. I would like to setup this network hopefully without running any more back bone cables as this is not easily done & would prefer not to go wireless unless absolutely necessary. I guess what I'm asking is would a simple ethernet switch or router be required & also the possibility of adding maybe a couple more machines in the future?

There appears to be issues slipstreaming sp2 over sp1,(don't know about sp1a)? I know it hasn't worked for me & has been successful from the gold version only.

Don't wanna sound like a nark a lotta trouble to go to Cybri2k but the self extracting version that RyanVM has forwarded does all this & its very small in size?

Best stick to xpe9.9 & sp1 at the moment then unless your prepared to go to sp2?

I have not changed over to xpe1.0 as yet but you need to look at Sherpyas read me txt in xpe ver 1.0 as many things have changed two extra inf files for starters. This that fails you need to post in their forums. CD Forums

basically saying that the system is not suitable for running ms-dos & ms windows applications?

Running xp sp1 on my machine but experiencing this screen when trying to install various progs. I noticed this today when I reloaded my digital camera drivers etc?

I know its gettin on a bit this app but have tried many switches with this one to make it install silently, appears to be an installshield but having trouble finding the iss file after using -R switch on setup anyone had success with this? I searched here & the 11 pages of apps Ctrl+f but no go on drive image by Powerquest?

Tried with a couple of Autoit scripts myself but yours seems to be the best so far but still not installing yet? It basically stalls at the licence agreement?

Im using the free version outpost.exe I modified a recently posted version using the autoit script could anyone tell if this can be modified for the free version at present it stalls on the outpost install check box?
