  1. This would be a very handy utility to guard our UA creations from Joe average .
  2. Your correct & I did not suggest you could.I merely pointed out to Cino where it would install to based on the posted info, thanks.
  3. I found with a reboot during Runonceex on restart it appears to skip the next key & goes to the next & continues?
  4. Believe me... those spawned from 5 files I used to use... I got tired of having 5 files, so I combined them This simply places a "placeholder" in the registry at the end of each step and reboots the PC. The next time the file is run it pulls that placeholder from the registry and jumps to that step. Nice one un4given1
  5. Thats really cool but when you have large code pls upload as a batch or txt document as per the prompts suggest.
  6. Yes you need to post this in the applications area & you will require to do some thorough reading of this Forum before posting?
  7. Working nicely now, thanks Totoymola
  8. I think ya right ya know!
  9. Yeah no worries dude I see ya have your reasons. I had my reservations going to sp2 maybe just me I find it quicker & pretty reliable. I recently bought a wired router & have not had a virus since certainly a good move to any serious user.
  10. useing tis method i save a sh*t load of space on my cd Yeah, how bout installation time any noticeable increases?
  11. Thats very interesting will save stax of space be lookin into this further?
  12. Yes don't know why its taking that long though XP is full of bloat. Nlite by the way basically reduces the source files of the OS, where you choose what to remove or keep. Just looking through your runonceex you appear to have many hotfixes in there may want to look @ upgrading to SP2 & include Ryan VM hotfix pack may save you a little. Nice rigg you have there though.
  13. Yeah no worries easy to do.
  14. One thing you might try: Repartition=Yes Depending where your installing of course. This works 4 me formats & defaults to NTFS file system.
  15. Thanks Soulin seen it about have not dll it to test as yet.
  16. I use Adaware se & Spybot. I find them both reasonably user friendly.
  17. Could be wrong sounds like HW prob to me? Maybe RAM chip crook or worst case processor or mobo?
  18. Hulk youre doing a smashing one here, I must say though Ryans spoiling me with his packs find them very favorable in my UA & work well with NLite.
  19. Ahh no worries Cino funny to see so many other Aussies round here now. Gee when I got here I thought we were extinct .
  20. Try using an Autoit script pretty sure Nologic has produced one for it.
  21. Not a good idea Lol
  22. Don't know lol generally most things from DS Ive purchased have been flops. Found Nero & DVD Shrink work great for me & burn them @ the slower speed the better? not neccesarily the quickest is best?
  23. The upgrade option may be a prob unless of course you have a full previous ver to validate an upgrade. I know I did a similar thing in my multiboot for ME, I basically pointed it to the 98se files for it to install UA & it worked a treat. Don't know bout XP though only messed with the full retail version LOL?
  24. Well I guess you need to tell us what method you use to UA your Apps for a start. To give you an idea my NLited XP installs in about 12 to 13 Minutes & I UA install straight after bout thirty apps in another twenty mins max using runonceEx from CD. (The file copy phase is a killer). Very happy with the CD method. I do use Gosh's method (Very respected member here & missed. Where is Gosh??) on my Multiboot works flawlessly. Don't know if the reduced source regime can further be NLited though & how reliable it would then be?? I'm sure someone else has done it here though.
