Only prob though once you slipstream the service pack you'll be lucky to put it back on a cd. Ive got mine down to 900mb standard with sp1 on a dvd.

The installation from cd/dvd is much faster, especially the file copy phase mine has more than halved since changing over to Runonceex from the cd/dvd. I haven't noticed any increased installation time either.

Ya right, but ya gave me the idea from your office project same principal though.

Just try examining the installer ie setup.exe /? then enter @ the cmd prompt. Can't remember if Project installs from the msi anyway thats a start. I f not try searching Office or project & look at the MSFN unattended guide pages for a in depth tut. Have a look @ Astalavista 7zip office reduced install guide a simple search should head you in the right direction.

@Keytotime Nice guide, though RyanVM does have a point re the msi's. I have problems doing the same a few days ago making a switchless installer for a work program with 7Zip.

Is it possible to use the saved exported favorites bookmark file in UA. @Lotsagigabytes can it be changed to?: xcopy "C:\install\favorites\*.*" "C:\Documents and Settings\Allusers\Favorites\*.*" /E /C /Q /Y of the Administrators group?

Thats good but for the majority it seems too hard. I'm sure we have all been in this situation & should be big enough to get up & over it. Besides we all spend too much time on this subject when we should be getting on with our own projects? You may think its harsh but being ignorant of these requests may be the key??

Yeah, bit strange in the program files/MYOB has a common folder with the j2re files present only no MYOB?? No uninstaller.exe & when I reinstall it basically won't start the installer??

Yes well NLite can be a very good tool but also a very dangerous one to the unwary. Heavens I know.

Just a quick one Ive successfully installed my accounting software ua with some help by Alanoll. I have noticed in the add & remove programs list its not there? The program works fine & does show on the start menu but does not give a remove option. I have tried removing all directorys & removing the keys in the registry. But the program later refuses to reinstall has anyone any ideas with this problem?
