  1. Hi Rado In the Autoit combined with Scite addon your installer only calling Autoit not both. eg: Shouldn't it be?
  2. Yep, mount your install.wim & drill down to: Mount\ProgramData\Microsoft\User Account Pictures, then choose a suitable pic rename it & save to same location. Then commit & save your .wim.
  3. Probably stating the obvious but have you looked Here
  4. Has been mentioned many times VLite does not always integrate all drivers properly.
  5. If you're installing from the setup.exe not unattended you would need to insert the key prior.
  6. @Toastycheese678 Thats great info & thanks for your findings. Will do some more testing myself.
  7. The oem directory as explained here is basically the same as we used in xp except now instead of placing in the i386 Dir we place it in the Vista Source Dir. One thing to remember is some of the placement of Vista window folders do differ from previous MS versions. Best way is to navigate around your running Vista setup & get used to the new structure then do many tests in a free Virtual machine. Another way you can save/move your files is with a sfx archive triggered from within the xml ans file using setupcomplete.cmd. Everything I suggested here can be found on this board. Many UA guides have been supplied for your use.
  8. Why not try putting the folder in the OEM directories inside Sources while unattending. eg.
  9. You're still not listening:wacko:
  10. Feel free to make one Not much time right now EDIT : Tested all links, and they all work fine. A mirror will also be up soon. Not disputing the validity of these tools. Most of which are new & I think the Authors should give a small read me on how best to use them. @ present all we hear is it works....
  11. @eddie11013 Thanks for your in depth findings. I will do further testing myself & post up results.
  12. I do commend both HJW & Spoof for putting this together in one thread etc, but a little more support for these tools would go a long way. I know this is not the first time I've complained....Fellas what about a tutorial maybe for those not in the know.
  13. Ok then more testing is required. I won't be too hasty to run this in a UA till then.
  14. Something corrupted in your registry maybe? Can tell you VPC2007 installs ok on every OS I've tried it on.
  15. /REMOVE_FEATURE fea_AVG_SafeSurf /REMOVE_FEATURE fea_AVG_SafeSearch It's surf and search, rather than repeating itself. The AVG Free FAQ has both listed, so I guess so, though safe-surf isn't part of AVG Free. Thanks man must have been half asleep when read that post. I love this place always someone to lend a hand.
  16. That's great news just got Vers 8 yesterday. Is this required twice in the switch? /REMOVE_FEATURE fea_AVG_SafeSurf
  17. Nice post HJW Don't wanna hose you down but many of the tools you talk of above do not fully work as advertised. I have tested Jan's Vista-Tool 1 says it works on all languages...not for me. I have the latest waik & Net installed, tested in Winxp sp2 & Vista sp1 Alberts Vista update integrator clearly does not work, maybe for some?? Dino's VLite sure does work in most cases, including hotfix & sp integration etc but lacks good driver integration. For the most these tools are straight forward enough to use but have little documentation or feedback... Maybe something is being overlooked? Don't know...
  18. Not a 100% certain as I don't run x64 You could try downloading that update to your x64 machine using windows update, then simply drill down from your system drive to Software distro/downloads & extract the .cab file of that update. You then integrate the cab file as you would with any other hotfix in Vista.
  19. Something like this, sources\$OEM$\$1\Users\Default\Desktop or sources\$OEM$\$1\Users\Public\Desktop If unattending from the DVD.
  20. Why not we'll drop everything & make one for you....
  21. Must give it a try, thanks for the tip.
  22. Guess its what you expect & can afford is what counts.
  23. Max Have tried this many times in both xp & Vista. It was more promising in Vista but failed eventually.
