Install another OS like linux or your copy of windows xp again to dualboot. Boot into it and browse to your fles u need on the right partition. Note: my experimenting has shown you can multiboot on one partition. All key folders have a .00 at the end. e.g. WINDOWS.00, Documents and Settings.00, but on one partition it is really buggy.

Good point mazin. Why kanti have you got /silent after every switch? And not every setup uses the Windows Installer. There are different switches for every installer type.

We know that on my comp, iexpress makes 7-zip sfx's!! Or maybe iexpress.exe was reshacked? Edit: Did a file compare w/iexpress.exe from my windows src and one in system32. iexpress was somehow edited. Don't ask me. That's true but I'm not checking nlitenment of a source, but an Iso. I don't take out the nlite.inf, I don't even know what it does I did a file compare by extracting the iso and comparing it w/my original 2k disc. Why I didn't think of that.... anyway, it wasn't nlited.

Other than the size and the "Customized by nLite (nliteos.com) <version.#.here>" comments at the end of txtsetup.sif and svcpack.inf, how can we check if nLite has been used on a source? I, like lots of ppl, back up my discs as iso's so if I lose it, I can burn another one, or if I need it and I still have it, I can mount it in daemon tools and use it faster. I backed up a Win2k source but I don't know if I nlited it or not. How can I tell (no last_session.ini's (i delete them anyway) and no comments under key source files)? Thx

Make the key in regedit, export it to $OEM$ folder in the root of ur cd, make a new file called cmdlines.txt as well, in cmdlines.txt, put [COMMANDS] regedit /s ie.reg where ie.reg is the reg file u exported. Didn't i pm u about ur signature?

False pos., some AV soft detect nLite as viruses cos sometimes it messes up some stupid people's sources (cos they can't be bothered to test in a virtual machine) and they end up formatting and failing to install. But that was 6 months ago, all gone now...

I downloaded incredimail and it woz an online installer. They are in %temp%\IMinstall if anyone wants to make a switchless installer. But there's no installer for them. The online installer downloaded all the files and then did whatnot with them.

Windows file protection error, are u using any hacked system files? Then use the disable system file protection patch in nlite and yes... format.
