Please correct me, if get this sentence wrong. You´re using a soucrcedisc with SP4, that has been created by using nlite to integrate the SP. Did you check any other option besides "integrate SP4", when you did this ? Afterwards you´re running your 2003 preset on this source and after that, the 2004 preset on the same source ? Agi

@efrain Sorry, since I´m not sure, how it´s handled in this forum, I have to stick to my statement. Because in the german-nlite forum, we have the strict rule, not to give any support, if nlite is used commercially or run on a corporate edition. If Nuhi or another admin/ mod says, it´s o.k. to give further support, I will do so. @Ac men Even though some people say, the sequence doesn´t matter or they never encountered any problems, that´s the one that worked best for me : RAID/ SATA/ Conrollerdrivers via textmode chipsetdrivers via inf-method networkdrivers The OEMSETUP.inf definetely does NOT belong in the driversection. @Alienator Didn´t mean to be offensive, if I was, I apologize. Yes, I used to integrate the TweakUI addon into my nlite CDs, up to the time, when all tweaks, that are important to me, were working fine in nlite. So it´s not installed on my PC anymore. Also there were some stability problems, after checking some tweaks in TweakUI. Seems, that I mixed up some options, ´cause I´m not using the english versions of nlite, Windows and TweakUI. Wenn Du Tomcat76´es Silent.NetMaker ( http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?showtopic=90779 ) verwendest, erhältst Du (abhängig davon, ob merged oder nicht) ein oder zwei Installer, welche schon die Patches enthalten. Daher müssen keine .Net Hotfixes in den HF Ordner und sie dürfen dort auch nicht rein, weil HFSLIP diese nicht verarbeiten kann. Deshalb wahrscheinlich auch die Fehlermeldung. Die/ der Installer kommen/ kommt in den Ordner "HFSVCPACK". Agi

@Ac men Please post your LastSessionIni. What do you mean with "exact the same problem" ? The "hanging" or that you want to use nlite for a company as well ? Basically, "Just a few drivers added", is not very clear, ´cause depending on the kind of drivers, their sequence and the method of integration is important. Agi

As far as I know, nlite doesn´t require JAVA, but definetly a(ny) version of .Net or the alternative .Netruntimes. Can´t say anything about NERO7, sorry. I´m still using NERO5 and always slip the Java 1.5 anyway, since I had some trouble with the 1.6 and FireFox2. Agi

The way, that´s working for me, is: Switch off the autoupdate, use the manual update once and select "don´t show this update again". I know it´s not a real solution, but at least a workaround. Agi

If you´re not blind, why do you ask for tweaks for Windows 95 ? Like hungry-SHEll already said, you can find most of them in the tweaks section. Could you please be more specific about : Desktop\First Icon !!! Agi

This is the licence agreement, that you accepted when you installed nlite : Look at point 1 and 5 ! So at least my support ends here. Agi

I don´t think so, since you´re using XP and I W2K. Even with and without VIA USB Patch and/ or MS USB update, the same happens. Agi

Well, I hope you didn´t miss the licence agreement, that says : Nlite is for private and non commercial use only. You can integrate most installers with nlite via .inf integration, but some installers and programs need to be extracted and repacked, to be silently (without popups/ clicking) installed, with switches like /norestart, /q, aso... Maybe I misunderstood, what you ment by : create "variable TU and set it to Y". If I did, I apologize. Agi

This sounds like commercial systems, that nlite should be run on. That you don´t know, what switches are, tells me, that you did not read the basics, as you should, before posting. Agi

@Nuhi Sorry, I completely forgot about the post concerning the "Hardwaremanager" Actually it´s the "Devicemanager" option : "Show hidden devices". If the option is checked in nlite, the hidden devices aren´t shown and after selecting the option manually, Windows forgets it after the next powerdown. If it´s not checked in nlite, the manual selection is kept and the hidden devices are shown by default. Agi

@vci That´s just partly true. Nlite is geared towards slipping Hotfixes and Updates, optionally integrating Drivers and Addons (that´s adding isn´t it ? ). But of cause, nlite removes unneeded components, drivers, hardwaresupport. @inter981 Seems that you have to make two different CDs for X86 and X64 or create a multibootCD/ DVD with an option to choose which OS should be selected. After you said it, I checked my polling freq and found out, there seems to be a similar problem. Using an old optical Logitech standard USB mouse M-BJ58 (dating back to somewhere between ice- and stoneage ), even after installing the proper mouseware, the polling can´t be set to a higher freq beyond 200, even though it could be polled with 1000 (with USB1.0). That´s what "mouseware" said, when I installed it on the PS2 port. Strange but true, never had the problem, when I didn´t remove "infrared devices" . Agi

Of cause it is ! Simply use the addon. NET 1+2 will be installed at T-13 and NET3 at first logon via GUIrunonce. Agi

What did you use as source and how did you create it ? ´Cause I see lots of integrated drivers but no SP or Hotfixes. @Nuhi Tried to reproduce the error again, with dde removed, but still couldn´t get it to hang. Used the latest HFSLIP to create the source and the nlite 1.4b to integrate drivers and remove components. Unfortuanately I deleted the CD RW already, so I can´t post the LSini, sorry. Agi EDIT It seems, that at least Thilo´s problem is selfinflicted and not nlite related, due to creating the source with HFSLIP and placing .NET installers in the wrong folder, using wrong hotfixes, using 64Bit drivers, tinkering with files without the slightest knowledge about them,...

Even though you could change it, it is definitely not recommended to do so. A major problem when selecting "standard PC" is, that you have to specify the IRQs in the BIOS for every card and lose the functionality of the virtual IRQs. I guess, you´ll have to create a new nlite CD and reinstall the system or check and alter the BIOS settings. Agi P.S.: Welcome to the forum !

As far as I understand it, nlite detects your actual system and doesn´t give you the choice to remove Intel if you´re really using an Intel chipset. Same for AMD. You´re on the safe side, if you remove AGP IF you integrate your own AGP drivers with nlite. Have a VIA chipset myself, remove the original MS drivers and integrate the VIA AGP per inf. Never had a problem. Another way is, to install the best drivers for a stable system, use doubledriver or drivergenius to save them and remove all drivers with nlite and replace them by the saved ones for the next CD/DVD.
