Just for info : The order is also pretty important, if you want to install the FireFox-, JAVA- and OpenOfficeAddons. If Java doesn´t detect FF, the Javaplugin won´t be installed into FF, if Oo doesn´t detect Java it will install the old version, it comes with. .Net has to be there before the nlite addon can be installed and so on... @slippykillsticks I´m just curious, I saw you´ve got XP drivers in your W2K ini. Are the nvidia and via drivers W2K and XP compatible ? Agi

To overcome the 137GB limit, you need the reg.exe from SUPPORT\TOOLS\SUPPORT.CAB from your W2K CD. Agi

I´m quite sure, that it is not an nlite bug. Using W2K myself, couldn´t reproduce the problem either and tried to help him in the german nlite forum already. Agi

As long as you didn´t nlite any vital (red) network components, flashget/-got should work perfectly for you, as they do for me. FF2.0.0.4 Agi

@FDV It´s nice to see that your page is still there ! But it´s also sad to see, that you don´t have the time any more to maintain it. Real Life First ! (I Know what I´m talking about and so I understand you) But there is still a question : I´m using HFSLIP to create the Source and afterwards run nlite over it, to integrate drivers. Nlite is still not capable to integrate IE6, DX9 and WMP9, as HFSLIP is doing it. And if, where can I get an uptodate list or what do I have to check for, to update it ? You could use DoubleDriver or DriverGenius to scan for drivers and to back them up. You can even use these backed up drivers to integate them with nlite. But be careful, DD sometimes complains about "too long filenames" especially for nvidia graphics drivers. Agi

@Nuhi Thank You ! So I´m throwhing in: I don´t know what "a few fixes" is, but I guess it´s the few already known Bugs (e.g. wrong CLSID, Hardwaremanagersettings,...). There is one Problem remaining : "XP only" Options are not grayed out (except for IE7) or still show up and the "Help" is not helpful for the same reason. Agi

@Coustal ??? I´ve already tested the latest version on Win2000, but prefer 1.2.1, why sholdn´t it be possible to change ? Didn´t find anything written, that Win2000 support has been cancelled. Could you please be a bit specific on that point ? Agi

Please remove your last session U ini immidiately ! It contains your key and should not be posted ! You removed the Camdrivers, but didn´t integrate any, so how should it work !? Didn´t check your .ini for mistakes in hardwaresupport yet. During the nliting you should check the Help to see, what component shouldn´t be removed. Agi EDIT Thanks !

Are you sure that it is the "windows file protection" and not depending on the "driver signing policy" ? Agi EDIT Forget, what I said above. Reckecked in the german nlite forum and found out, that´s depending on the source. The regkeys differ if you use an SP1 or SP2 CD. Agi

Hi Nuhi, thank you for the new Version ! After seeing the "W2K" in the changelog, I was hoping for the best, but unfortunately the same old bugs are still there since 1.2.1 : If you check anything in the Tweaksection under Desktop, the IE and networkassistant are still there and My Computer (Arbeitsplatz) is gone from the desktop as well as from all menues. I couldn´t get confirmation yet, if it´s really just in the localized german W2K. A new bug occurred as well : The monitor settings are not taken over. Would be nice, if you´ll find some spare minutes to have look at it. Agi EDIT Problem solved by Silvereyes !

Well, if you have some HD space left, why don´t you simply install on a testpartition, since VM is known to create problems that are not there during "live installation". Couldn´t find a snag in your .ini that´s why I ask. Agi

Well, I guess it´s not really he needs right now. It´s a running system built on nlite. Did You just remove the drivers or the hardwaresupport as well ? If You removed the support it´s pretty tricky to get it back, if it´s just the drivers use the original Widows CD or the drivers that came on the CD delivered with Your Camera and/or Stick. If it´s a Sony check out the web -not using google- for "non rootkit" alternative drivers. Agi
