The option to switch on/off SFC and/or DriverSigningPolicy when you´re not integrating drivers with nlite seems a nice feature for the 1.4 for me as well. As a workaround simply insert (if not already present) : Driversigningpolicy : off Nondriversigningpolicy : off to the winnt.sif before creating the iso. Agi Hammerklau

@murvun Ähm.. are you still the Keeper and/or maintainer of the the DE FDV-Files ? They´re gone and nobody seems to give a flyin´ fart about !... hmmm... at least there were no requests any more and I don´t know whether they´re still required. Würd halt gern mal wieder ein sicheres minimum W2K bauen. Agi Hammerklau

@ grzesiek and Tomcat76 For Testpurposes I ran the new n-lite yesterday and had the same problems. The WDM drivers were not installed correctly and Wincoder/Winproducer crashed due to a lack of dlls. Didn´t use HFSLIP to create this CD so I guess it´s either the new DX9 Cab or one of the Hotfixes or that the SFP was off. As a workaround I ran the DX9 setup.exe again after W2K installation was done and everything worked fine again. Agi Hammerklau [EDIT] Seems not to be a bug in the progam(s). Just rechecked with HFSLIP and nlite. I used the same old DX9 Cabs as ever and SFP was ON. So it´s got to be one of the last Hotfixes since it´s very unlikely that two different progams generate the same prob using identical sources. Agi Hammerklau

Of course there is most of the stuff on HFSLIP.ORG, but for me it´s easier to see why I´m doing what and having a step by step guide is better then searching the forum for everything. Bytheway after comparing the pages I saved and yesterday there was no hint anymore about removing IE after installation... I hope FDV is not in serious trouble, but if, I will support him as much as I can. Agi Hammerklau

Hi ! I´m just trying to build an unattended installation-disk for w2k without IE again. So I just dropped by FDV´s homepage and found it suspended. Yesterday it was still up and running. Fortunately I could grab all relevant pages from google-cache. Do You know what happened? Did he violate any new laws nobody knows about ( reverse engeneering, copyright, DRM,... ) or did he simply forget to pay for the domain ? I will definetly miss this page if it will be blocked for ever ! But I hope he will be back and also contribute to this forum ! Agi Hammerklau

Thanks for the answers ! Looks as if I was on the right track already, so I will finish altering the original files. As soon as I´m done I will run a test on them and post or mail them. May take a couple of days due to limited time and knowledge but I´m pretty sure it will work out. Should I encounter some unresolvable problems I will cry for help. Hi ! I just stumbled upon the same problem . So I downloaded FDV´s fileset again and tried to change the original (german) files accordingly. Since I don´t have a clue about this stuff it obviously didn´t work. I hope You found an answer already. If so, please post it.
