  1. ~750MB is the minimum size for 64bit Ultimate, without hotfixes, sxs kept.
  2. bottled leaf, KB929777, if you needed it at all, even if integrated doesn't help during installation. This fix, or lets say hack, helps in a way so that you don't have to unplug the extra memory stick to be able to install. Should work on both 32 and 64bit but only 32bit was confirmed. And yeah it is weird that 64bit can have the same issue. http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929777
  3. IMAPIv2 Burning Support User Bledd or maybe someone else already told me to put that into description, forgot.

    Merry Christmas

    thx Best wishes.
  5. anonymous_user, my pleasure. marauder16, it is planned for sure, wasn't a priority because Vista supports most of the newer hardware. 1.2 probably.
  6. artistar, oh never seen that one. I'm using it on Vista x64 constantly. That Filter Manager can usually only be missing from the XP if someone removed it with nLite for example.
  7. Thank you all. Jeronimo, it was the captured partition letter issue? Since no one else reported it, which is weird, the fix notion was unnecessary.
  8. Yes, who are they to decide on the standard, let them have it, only people who will have issues are the addon makers which have to decide will they make the addon for both tools (nLite functions) or just that thing.
  9. 32bit Vista Windows folder below 2GB, 64bit probably 3.5. And all works. There is an extreme component in 1.1RC which can trim both by one third more (Component Cache removal), but it is quite extreme because if you want to install any hotfixes after removing that you gotta integrate and reinstall.
  10. That is the AIO version. Do not move the x86 folder, it must be where it is. Simply browse with vLite to the root and then when you select the image and configure it it will leave only one.
  11. Pure vJoyment. Changes and download Ho. Note to Visual Studio 2008 users: If you want to remove Component Cache be sure to integrate \WCU\dotNetFramework\dotNetMSP\x86|x64 hotfixes during vLitement, otherwise it will fail during .net 3.5 install. This is just for this component, normal vLite config, even all removed, does not have this issue.
  12. http://www.nliteos.com/faq.html#Q19 Also there are some drawbacks, it won't be so unattended any more. Not my mistake, simply you shouldn't be able to have unattended and prompt for repair, as far as I know, but this hybrid mode works fine.
  13. If you choose Fully Automated and leave Computer Name blank nLite will enter * which is random computer name. If not let me know.
  14. Try without addons, especially replace NR_IE7en_Addon_1.0.3b.wr.7z with the downloaded IE7 installer from Microsoft. No offense to the addon maker, this is just for debugging, then if confirmed I can try the addon and see why. Let me know how it goes.
  15. I just saw common components in the presets and tried it until the error log was clean. No magic.

    nLite 1.4(.1) - - ->

    videobruce, it was like that and then there would be a complaint every day, some even insulting me. You don't know what the masses are capable of V@no, wrote it down, thx.
  17. chris.b, you tell me. I haven't fixed it yet. Gonna try tonight.
  18. jimanny, that is weird. Especially the part where it matters to the WAIK since it mixes as well, can you recheck that, change the first letter and try to import the XML. Better yet replace all in vLite xml to big letter first and see if that passes.

    nLite 1.4(.1) - - ->

    Martin H, gonna correct that, thx.
  20. Oh great So now gotta see why. Didn't look like a big mistake at first glance so it's probably some new file or they added it to some other INF. chris, in setuperr.log.
  21. Yeah it's MS mistake with the virtual image NTFS access.
  22. streamer_, I got to the point where your error log is clean if you don't remove Security Center. Please confirm and see if it resolves whatever issues you have, you didn't mention the details. chris.b, if you remove Security Center try with it kept.
  23. If you removed "TCP/IP NetBIOS Helper" then only Router with DHCP server on it enabled can help you. At least this was the case in Vista. Also don't disable services other than what can be removed with nLite, Workstation is crucial. Install and enable Microsoft Network in TcpIp properties of your LAN connection if it's not.
  24. Read the "Reboot on browse" news post on vlite.net Basically you will have to uninstall antivirus.
  25. streamer_, no problem for the language but tell me what to look for, you just said "not working", what do you mean? I do see some errors in the setuperr.log, checking now to see if it is just a dependency.
