  1. @maile3241 If you have another system, you can try running the proxy there.
  2. See this quick guide, get the python (non-compiled) version and check if you can run it. Use it only for HTTPS, additionally in config.ini set ProxAddr to the rear server ( http://localhost: RearPort ) and you can run it without Proxomitron. Me?! And many others... Writing on one right now Even modern systems often struggle on those "modern" websites.
  3. Too bad they say some of the included updates break non-SSE2 systems... You can try the python version of ProxHTTPSProxyMII. Also HTTPSProxy was mentioned many times about 10(ish) pages back... P.S. guys, you're adding pages here like crazy, lol
  4. Check this for the ATI driver - https://www.amd.com/en/support/graphics/legacy-graphics/ati-radeon-9xxx-series/ati-radeon-9600-series or this - https://www.vogons.org/viewtopic.php?p=844905#p844905 (the link in second post is cut, this is the correct one http://www.tmeeco.eu/9X4EVER/GOODIES/rad_w9x_omega_2637.exe ) In Win7 open the device properties, switch to Details tab, select "Hardware IDs" and copy the values here so we can see exactly which devices are these. or use the Pcilist program from here https://entechtaiwan.com/util/legacy.shtm
  5. It would be easier to list what those 4 are. Try to find the vendor and device IDs detected.
  6. Now imagine having to solve a captcha every time you click a link...
  7. Did you try to turn on automatic updates as suggested on that page? Use either the link there or just open the applet from Control Panel. If it's ON already, try to turn it OFF and ON again Last time i messed with WU/MU on my main PC, i was too annoyed at the web interface (maybe it was too slow, or there was some error, i don't remember), so i closed IE and did other things. After some time i had a notification about new updates being available in the systray. I just clicked that and checked if i want those updates without using the site. Nowadays i just manually install updates only when needed. I wouldn't like some SSE2 stuff or some half-compatible DLL to sneak in and break my system.
  8. You never know with Microsoft, lol. Didn't you check every non-nonsense possibilities already?
  9. get a disposable mail and check it - https://www.hcaptcha.com/accessibility P.S. you can reuse the same link on multiple systems
  10. I set the limits for frequent servers, but don't bother for one-time ones.
  11. Works in XP. Don't work in 7 and 10. Anyone got 2003 to test?
  12. I was getting errors at 100% in the past. Then i configured it to use a temporary folder while downloading and got rid of that. Not sure if it was the same error as yours. Mine is v.3.0.8 though. Rarely i get "server error", but it finishes fine after a "resume".
  13. Yup, same here. I use the hCaptcha accessibility cookie to skip pecking at images. Needs e-mail to get it once, then just bookmark the link they send you and use it to renew the cookie (it expires each day).
  14. Maybe set your regional settings to US date format, reboot, and try MU again? Then switch back to UK (or whatever you use) and check MU.
  15. What from all these needs SSE2?
  16. Hopefully with a SSE build too?
  17. Go to this page https://msfn.org/board/attachments/ You can remove old uploads to free some space. For images it is better to use external sites though. I normally use imgur.
  18. Search for BSOD 7B You may first try booting with the automatic restart disabled (from the F8 menu) to confirm that this is the error you get.
  19. Some DOS bits collection i just stumbled upon - https://web.archive.org/web/20150510114341/http://johnson.tmfc.net:80/dos/lucho.html See if you'll find anything useful there They say you can start Win3/9x from that.
  20. With or without a proxy - it's not red here Well, not green either.
  21. It's not actually about the color, that's just an indication of the issue. Which is the same as with your Mypal example. Someone will try to open a page in IE, or in 360Chrome with that warning enabled, then will come asking why it doesn't work, lol. I consistently see it when i open my bank site. It skips all proxies
  22. Are you sure this is "ready-to-go"? Does the https:// part in 360Chrome become green and not striked-out later IF you skip the next post (i.e. someone who don't use FF-based browsers)? If not, you'll need to manually import the certificate in the IE store too.
  23. Maybe rewrite all pages to be iframes in a container Proxo page? lol This may drag a whole host of other issues though.
  24. Look at the response codes (first number after the address) Code for first line is 302, which means redirection. Code for second line is 200 - success. Looks fine to me.
  25. Well, "mate" feels more like "buddy" or "fellow" to me. It's good and bubbly Meanwhile "dude" carries a totally different connotation (to me at least). Dave, swing the axe, please, if you don't mind.
