See this quick guide, get the python (non-compiled) version and check if you can run it. Use it only for HTTPS, additionally in config.ini set ProxAddr to the rear server ( http://localhost: RearPort ) and you can run it without Proxomitron. Me?! And many others... Writing on one right now Even modern systems often struggle on those "modern" websites.

NEED : HP Compaq NC6000 windows 98 SE Drivers.
RainyShadow replied to leperdu's topic in Windows 9x/ME
Check this for the ATI driver - https://www.amd.com/en/support/graphics/legacy-graphics/ati-radeon-9xxx-series/ati-radeon-9600-series or this - https://www.vogons.org/viewtopic.php?p=844905#p844905 (the link in second post is cut, this is the correct one http://www.tmeeco.eu/9X4EVER/GOODIES/rad_w9x_omega_2637.exe ) In Win7 open the device properties, switch to Details tab, select "Hardware IDs" and copy the values here so we can see exactly which devices are these. or use the Pcilist program from here https://entechtaiwan.com/util/legacy.shtm -

It would be easier to list what those 4 are. Try to find the vendor and device IDs detected. -
Did you try to turn on automatic updates as suggested on that page? Use either the link there or just open the applet from Control Panel. If it's ON already, try to turn it OFF and ON again Last time i messed with WU/MU on my main PC, i was too annoyed at the web interface (maybe it was too slow, or there was some error, i don't remember), so i closed IE and did other things. After some time i had a notification about new updates being available in the systray. I just clicked that and checked if i want those updates without using the site. Nowadays i just manually install updates only when needed. I wouldn't like some SSE2 stuff or some half-compatible DLL to sneak in and break my system.

I set the limits for frequent servers, but don't bother for one-time ones. -

Works in XP. Don't work in 7 and 10. Anyone got 2003 to test? -
My Browser Builds (Part 3)
RainyShadow replied to roytam1's topic in Browsers working on Older NT-Family OSes
I was getting errors at 100% in the past. Then i configured it to use a temporary folder while downloading and got rid of that. Not sure if it was the same error as yours. Mine is v.3.0.8 though. Rarely i get "server error", but it finishes fine after a "resume". -
What from all these needs SSE2?

Hopefully with a SSE build too? -
Search for BSOD 7B You may first try booting with the automatic restart disabled (from the F8 menu) to confirm that this is the error you get.

Some DOS bits collection i just stumbled upon - https://web.archive.org/web/20150510114341/http://johnson.tmfc.net:80/dos/lucho.html See if you'll find anything useful there They say you can start Win3/9x from that. -
It's not actually about the color, that's just an indication of the issue. Which is the same as with your Mypal example. Someone will try to open a page in IE, or in 360Chrome with that warning enabled, then will come asking why it doesn't work, lol. I consistently see it when i open my bank site. It skips all proxies
