  2. @ orion2 are you changing the size of your hdd via partitions or is it just formatting the whole hdd???? because if it's just formatting the whole hdd then you can delete this from your winnt.sif; because Size1="*" would just be the whole hdd.......... at least I think that is the way it works?? I can't get it to work and I used the same as yours except I added a size any other ideas are welcome........ BD B) EDIT @Agent007 [DiskConfig] is correct found in ref.chm\winfom.ini\diskconfig were you can find this as well
  3. no luck, I can test very quickly, winnt.sif on floppy and clean test hdd on 2nd computer so if you have ideas let me know........... BD B)

  5. I went the chm and used one there; tried changing repartition and autopartition with no change......what about filesytem*, should I remove it?? BD

One of the advantages of starting out here @ MSFN and learning the basics of making an unattended CD\DVD, is when a program such as nLite comes along and makes that whole process so much easier and faster..........one really appreciates it.......the other advantages for me are faster install, and faster OS, using fewer resources.........thanks to all those who make it easier, faster, prettier for me........ That's really strange because I've used it just the opposite way you say and Windows Update List, has always shown they are still there and WU never has said they weren't?? use nLite to integrate RVM's full pack remove components run slipstreamer add boooggy's update make iso never a problem......... BD B)

  18. oK boooggy, all said and done, I ended up with a file size of 13,331,973 after useing picozip, and adding all your updates except for audiodev.dl_, is that the correct size? Thanks for your time and effort here............. BD B)

  23. I've been using WAIT, as of late, great GUI, but know that WPI has a dev team I'm looking back at it again, probably keep WAIT with DVD and use WPI with CDR............. Both good post installers............... BD B)

I'm using the HighPoint raid controller, HPT374, but, not in raid, in ATA mode........... but still a bunch of problems, keeps giving the main drive the letter H: not C:, went ahead and installed that way just to check it out....I've got an extra hdd so I think this weekend I'll remove all those removable drives and use ide to see what happens....... BD B)
