hmm okay just talked with my sister, she told me that the frigging electricity went on and off in a sec or less. and i believe that messed up everything. bc now my keyboard doesn't work. everytime i restart something stops working. **** that electrician! bc this electricity thing is going on for 2 weeks, its not raining, its not snowing and afaik no repairs are in progress, the guy just wants to be smacked i believe, or he somehow learned that i just bought a new psu and therefore i cannot use my ups! pls someone suggest me a psu that can handle 480W. i just don't care how much time it lasts for, just a min or 2 is enough. i see it don't worry, we've starbucks here as well and whatever u got there we have it but in where i live, ppl are used to having 3 different sizes, so if u say i want a small cup they'll give u "tall", and they'll give u "grande" if u say medium and etc.... the words don't really matter as long as they understand u. and frankly if the guy on the counter was to give me the wrong one i'd slap him lol, he shoudln't be qualified to work at starbucks.. ok gamehead and sven stop watching cartoon network, esp southpark, heh, that i believe have more "bad" words then any other cartoon or movie i've yet to see...

yes u can also do this to enable the console just by pressing ~: go to your doom3/base folder create a file called autoexec.cfg and enter: set com_allowConsole "1" then the console will come down with only pressing ~ bye..

hi there its been a long while since my xp got stuck. anyways today i had to let my sister use my computer, bc i had formatted her's and put nlited xp and had not installed office yet. (She had to use powerpoint) anyways, when i got back home, my mouse's light did not lid, and i was like wtf. bc the screen was on and had my sisters powerpoint. then i tried typing, ctrl+alt+delete and nothing responded. since i cannot do much after not responding i pressed the reset button, now my internet doesn't work, i've set manual ip and therefore i didn't assing dhcp, i tried repairing the connection, it said repaired but its still not working.. why on earth is it not working? check disk didn't report anything, temperature readings are ok. and futhermore when i first reset and restarted the computer it reset itself.. dunno what to make out of it.. here's what the event viewer says: (i've to type bc the networks not working) I cannot really decode that dmp file... help meee thanks!!

i experience this thing as well, i haven't done anything about it but i'll open it and remove the beeper from the ups, i don't think there is any other way. I frankyl don't understand why it beeps, i can easily understand when electricty goes, i don't have to be warned about it, and yes it might be done bc some ppl might prefer to "hear" the annoying beep to turn off their devices, but when u install the software to your comp it shuts it down.. so i think those ups manufacturers should at least put a switch to turn on/off the buzzzzzer! i've apc..

i highly doubt that. if all the torrent links in the webpages were to die, ppl can still share the .torrent files under other p2p's like ed2k. I personally prefer torrent over emule, bc its faster for me. so if no web links, i'd dl max 1mb torrents from emule then start my dl from torrent client...

leave them on automatic i think, do u have a router? do u want those computers in the network to share files? or do u want all of them to be able to connect to shareaza and share stuff over the internet? if u want sharing across lan enable "ignore private/local ip address." i think. i'm not very good at shareaza, trying to discover many parts of it myself...

no i'm telling u not to run it. i thought u ran a reg clean program and thought that it caused the ie problem, so don't run it. so since u haven't run any reg clean program that cannot not be the reason, so focus on the virus issue, also 1 thing i've noticed since u're on the board, either u're not protecting your computer properly or u're playing with it too much, bc by looking at your posts u've many many problems like this one. so set up some security on your comp. install a anti-virus, install a firewall, install adware programs, install pop-up blockers. if u're on cable or dsl u can also enable hardware firewall... don't get me wrong, i'm just trying to tell u that these problems are the things that can easily be fixed with the right tools, and u won't run into problems when u often update the definitions (virus, adaware..etc..) and u don't have to pay a penny for those tools, there are many free alternatives...... anyways hope u find your solution.. in the mean while try another browser..run spybot s&d, webroots spysweeper etc. etc. get a free virus cleaner and scan your hdd, well actually its a better idea to get norton boot time scanner, it'll scan your hdd from dos, and since there will be no other programs running no other programs will interfere with norton and they won't try to shut or fool norton..

well its pretty easy. but it depends on which brand the laptop is i'll explain for mine: dell insipron 8200. on the right side there is an infra-red slot which is like a black plastic. under it there is a screw. u have to unscrew it then, gently pull down. then pull it to the right side and the hdd will just come off. after this u'll have to unscrew the screws that attach the hdd to the slot. after that just replace the old one with the new, put in the screws. then push the whole thing into the slot and thats it. since there are no cables its easy...

Hi there I was wondering if there were any car tuning maniacs out there who can help me I frankly don't understand what to do with: (Front & Rear = F&R) F&R Springs F&R Shocks F&R Sway Bar also is increasing the downforce always a good thing? either way what could be the optimum level? also even if i play with those above I've no idea on: where ECU is more efficient at, i mean on which RPM? this also goes for Turbo and which setting is good for Nitro? well thank u, who ever answers this will be helping me both in the game and in the real life

i've been doing it, well more than 6 but my eyes are not in good shape, i'm on contact lenses with short sightedness (Myopia) and astigmatism and high numbers but this started b4 i started using the comp that much, its bc our class in 5th grade was big and i was sitting at the backs and started having problems, then played too much of game gear and game boy than eventually my eyes got worse.. i think it also has something to do with genes..
