check and reinstall dx9c and did u try what i told u about the display properties.. other than this, if u have time, reinstall xp (onto another partition) and see if that works, if not i dunno

well i think .net framework is like java platform, which means java based apps can run but u cannot code with it, so sdk is for "software developing kit" and its used to compile programs in .net language... same goes for java, there is java sdk and etc..

they both work on my gf 4 440mx, though on low config... read the readme's maybe they've issues with your card or something like that.. i haven't heard of "software acceleration" for long while now, last i saw that i think i was playing nfs 4 or 5:) how do u know its working on software accel? anyways try looking into display properties, settings advanced troubleshoot and look at hardware acceleration and set it to full also enable write combining.. other than this i can only suggest u to get new drivers, maybe new drivers for your mobo chipset etc.... and find write cache

well i use ace utilities duplicate remover. i actually want more from it but it does its job okay. i heard of dup remover but i haven't tested it.. i use omegatron's ODIN Professional (http://www.omegatron.nl) for my pictures. I like collecting so i've many pictures and many dups as well...

that's not really a tweak. and what does it do, it looks like defaults settings except u've the registration info in there!

there are guides in tomshardware.com take a look at them also those guides kind of state that powercolor is not a good brand, so if u've overclocked it, its best u get a good fan or u'll blow it up..

well okay all this time i was assuming, anyways i went over and did some search and it turns out the dvd+/-R's are still expensive compared with cd's anyways thinking more about the topic, i think most companies who burn the discs have hardware to burn cd's and they might not want to change it to dvd burners since those things can burn lots of cd's at 1 time. so it might be a costly process. though i've just disproved myself on the dvd's being cheaper i still want my games on the dvd reference to the prices that i looked at Ritek media from rima.com well i just hope they'll release games on dvd's more often..

I agree with Astalavista. the blank dvd's are so cheap these days if u buy them in bulk and of course the game producers have deals with blank media producers. so thats not the problem.. also ut2004 for example 6cd's right that costs more than a dvd. also for 6cd's u need 6cases, for 1dvd u only need 1 and since less cases means smaller box. etc.. so cd's are not cheap in anyways... its not efficient as well.. so basically i think its due to ppl not having dvd readers though that sounds so stupid to me since the dvd readers are so cheap these days. well let me tell u one other thing. say doom3 & hl2 for example, ppl buy new systems just to play it. if not they buy new graphics cards worth $200+ a dvd reader whereas is about $50. so its very buyable. if the game producers agree on releasing games on dvd's everyone will switch to dvd's and if the game only requires 1 cd, the dvd readers can still read cd's. that's my pov

also there are some files with only filename.001 filename.002 etc they won't be associated with winrar so u'll have to open up winrar and find filename.001 file and open it and press extract.. if they're in filename.rar, filename.r01, filename.r02 format just right click on .rar and extract...

@army20 why are u so skeptical about the picture? if its a real picture i'm glad for that guy and his gf, if not which i personally don't think so, shame for who ever did it, but also we're thankfull to him for giving us an idea , which i'll probably never going to do the dorm rooms are supposed to look like each other as in all the levels in an apartment are the same, and structures are the same. but yea the sky looks suspicious but do u really know what the sky looks like in shangai?
