well for some programs they will work even if it says it cant you simply edit the msi with orca 2 and you may be able to run it. If a program requires dependencies in PSAPI.dll Tihiy provided a Dll which didnt depend on anything so you could fool the program. If you add an entry to HKEY_Local_Machine/Software/Microsoft/Windows NT/Current Version called Current Version and an entry of 5.1 you can also fool version checkers.

im running 98se, to install it i got the setup files from an xp machine i edited the msi with orca so that it didnt complain about an unsupported OS but i get an error when i run it. So Tihiy how did you get it to work

but have there been templates specifically made for poledit for xp settings

Where can i find templates to run with the nt4 version of poledit for some of the xp options like removing the xp start menu.

I have been trying to get my XP Pro sp2 box to connect to my NT4 Server (Terminal Server Edition) if i use the network identification wizard at the end when it asks to create a user it comes up with this error The User could not be added because the following error has occured: The Trust replationship between this workstation and the primary domain failed. If i say dont create a user at this time it finishes i restart and at the logon screen when i type in a domain user it come up with an error equivelent to the user/password is wrong (not a domain controller error) 2k and 98se can connect its just xp pro that doesnt
