I've tried many brands and haven't had any experiences that were much better or worse than the others. The only real difference is the initial setup for the encryption key since they all have their own setup procedure. Other than that, all of the hardware has performed similarly for me.
I think you are stuck. You are right that you can mail them back to Yahoo. And there are ways to automate that process. But Yahoo will perceive those as new mails and stamp them accordingly. They do have import/export for address book data, but not for mail.
I'm glad to see that we've compiled so many options. I'll have to sit down one weekend and evaluate these other applications to see which one I like the best. The one with the speed throttling feature interests me.
We'll get some clarification for you. Do you need to change your email address? If so, please PM the correct address to me. It might take a while to get it changed, though.
I don't participate in any of this stuff but maybe you'll still accept my opinion on the graphics. puntoMX's are good, but I like this one because it follows the MSFN theme:
