  1. Nope! That would be member jcarle. Other members also contribute the ULs. Thank him and if you can afford it, be so kind as to donate a few $ on his website in appreciation of his development efforts.
  2. ??? What -are- you talking about? 1 - Get and Install WUD. http://www.windowsupdatesdownloader.com/ 2 - Get the ULs of your choice (e.g. Win7 x64 -and- Win8.1 - TAB IS ON MAIN SITE) 3 - Run WUD to download what ULZ has "inside" it (list of fixes to download) 4 - See post#10/#11 - the fixes need to be in SAME folder. 5 - Create and run the Script (see post#8) -within- that SAME folder. Not rocket science. !Notice! This script -only- applies to the files ending in ".MSU" and do -not- apply to any "additional" install files (we call them add-ons). Other files (as just described) will need another method of mass-install -or- manually install them.
  3. You've changed the scenario and now have different symptoms. This cannot be the original "Last Session.ini" that was requested. Nobody can help you if you keep moving the target. Also, I'm unsure of the PathName applied to the files in question for Greek Language XP. Will they be the same? Finally, please tell me that you are using an UN-modified Source for the Integration. I ask because you said: - "i have a modified version of xp pro with some internal addons in it for example mozilla, wmp11 etc." I also note this: "OnePiece_MSXML_4.0_SP3_v4.30.2117.0_(KB2758694)_True_AddOn_ENU" so why are you integrating English components into a Greek source?
  4. @dencorso - yeah, found and downloaded/tested on 2K3 waaaay earlier. Can't seem to get that Disk tab to show for some reason (even with instructions found on how to "activate") . Got error messages on first run (just tried again). 1 - "The procedure entry point RtlGetUnloadEventTraceEX could not be located in the dynamic link library ntdll.dll" 2 - "Unable to load ExtendedTools.dll. The specified procedure could not be found." "Do you want to disable the plugin?" (and Yes/No buttons <-I said "no") It is (without the Disk tab) showing I/O Read/Write Bytes after selecting those columns to be displayed. -AHAH! http://processhacker.sourceforge.net/forums/viewtopic.php?f=33&t=66 So that "disk" tab will never exist on anything but Vista+ (?). EDIT! Yep, only Vista+, still, you can get the add'l columns to show a bit of info. http://processhacker.sourceforge.net/forums/viewtopic.php?p=2221
  5. I responded to the following post. Please do what my response said to do, only do it here instead. http://www.msfn.org/board/topic/156533-experiment-of-how-nlite-slipstream-updates/?view=findpost&p=1087495
  6. If you're using it, it will accumulate. If not, it won't. That simple.
  7. SysInternals Process Explorer (now owned by MS). Not in kBytes, but in Bytes for each Process.
  8. dimitris77 - Please attach (not Copy/Paste) your "Last Session.ini" from the nLite session. I'm assuming you've already read this - http://driverpacks.net/docs/beginners-guide-windows-xp BTW, you should have started a new Topic for your particular problem.
  9. "1.XML" inside the WIM(s) usually contains all relevant info on a given Image. You can't just "change" the info willy-nilly since each Index# is "tied" to a given InstallEdition/BootImage within them. What is your intent in asking these questions? Perhaps you should extract that file and have a look at it.
  10. "All Users".... "Default User"... LightScribe is for burning an "image" in the "top" side of a DVD. Look at your Burner. Bet it has the symbol/words on it. It's Freeware. Just google the word...
  11. Uhhh... Agreed, but.... If each target PC is a different brand from each other, then the Recovery DVD's will be individualized per "group" (whatever)/ They "should (per "group") preactivate the OS because of the Internal Key (still applies, just like XP) and the associated (per "group") "XRM-MS" file(s). You could use a common Image (unactivated) but the key and XRM-MS would have to apply to each "group". Once the FirstLogon (however you do it) is done, the File and Key would need "plugged in" with a "group" Script. Your roll-out would have to detect what the PC -really- is (make, model, etc) and act accordingly (per the Recovery DVD stuff per "group"). The above is based upon the assumption that you have (e.g.) a mix of Dell (diff models), HP (diff models), etc. Is this true? As far as the Office is concerned, I know not, unless those, too, are "locked" per "group". (OEM Office pre-installed/activated?)
  12. I wasn't aware that nLite would have any new "tweaks". As to "Presets with remove, then add back in", You sepak of Security, yet wanr Firewall as preset "removed"? As for AV, what -are- you talking about? AV isn't included, just a warning ballon. Now, for EOL notice, HUH???? You get that from MS Updates -only-! You're assuming that all SP3+Post-SP3 stuff (including Add-Ons) is already included it seems - thery are -not-. You start with an unaltered XP, integrate SP3+Post-SP3+Add-Ons then "Tweak" and/or "Remove" as you desire. -NOBODY- to my knowledge has ever had a pre-set that did exactly what -anybody else- wanted. That, my friend is all on -YOU-! nLite's sole purpose is to relieve the burdon of having to figure out how to manually add/remove stuff. Sorry...
  13. @PhilipYip - nLite trounced on the TXTSETUP.SIF. You'll have to manually add back in what's in the original.
  14. @Molecule - If it's English it won't be K, N, or KN. You have the full OEM CD.
  15. nLite is no longer being developed. It's at its last release and no further changes will be made.
  16. hey there Updater checks file versions and does absolutely nothing if same one or newer is already installed. No harm, no foul.
  17. You refer to two people installing OEM and not needing activated. That's because the Key is the Internal Key and the OEM CD/DVD has those tricky litlle special OEMBIOS.xxx files that correspond to the Internal Key (and *maybe* the COA key works with it?). If you note the links I gave they said the COA key with an OEM CD/DVD ("generic" or OEM-specific, I have no clue), which *does* require activation. You've confused the two. Lastly, they never promised to activate the Plus! (an Add-On) stuff, only XP and Office, correct?
  18. This video was done on April 16. Activated via the Wizard, using the COA key and an OEM CD. Also, in the comments, a person claims to have activated an Oracle VM install. And another person specifically stated that Phone Activation won't work anymore. Here's a topic at MS that states similar information. http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/windows/en-US/e689f11d-1bae-4b34-92af-33e87e11d45e/what-will-happen-to-windows-xp-activation-after-april-2014?forum=itproxpsp This person also activated via the Wizard. http://community.spiceworks.com/topic/492458-windows-xp-beyond-activation And here (plus a litlle yammering about what will/won't run) - http://www.pc410.com/rants/windows-xp-support-has-ended-at-microsoft-so-what/ HUH! Here's an MS KB that states if your System Clock is incorrect, you'll get that error. http://support.microsoft.com/kb/306153 And here is an article on Win2k3 (same error #) that mentions Revoked Certificates on Proxy - http://support2.microsoft.com/kb/816897
  19. FWIW, an OEM Refurbisher DVD (Professional) is identical to the downloadable ISO (FPP) except for the EI.CFG contents. The OS was already installed/activated with the key on the Refurbisher COA (a piece of paper). The Refurbisher COA Sticker has only a bar code and what appears to be a serial#. Yes, it's all official and on the up-and-up. The DVD is white and specifically says OEM Refurbish, similar to what big OEM's have/had (Do not redistribute, yada-yada). JFYI...

    FDV fileset for XP

Did you perform Step 7? http://www.vorck.com/windows/xpsp4.html Also this (note Fred's comment recommending using nLite - last comment) http://www.msfn.org/board/topic/89104-nlite-vs-vorcks-method/ As I said (repeatedly) - use nLite and compare. Or not and just go along your merry way being PO'd you're not getting the result you want.
  21. To puty in .02cents - don't try 2 use "Do another?" It hangs & you have to kill it. Safe bet, exit & restart (like original ones).
  22. WUD doesn't have those ULZ listed, so, bad break for you. No iPad support at all. Official lists: http://www.windowsupdatesdownloader.com/UpdateLists.aspx
  23. AGP Aperture gave me a problem, so there's that. Had to cut it in half and then it booted.
  24. ? Which version of WUD? Which UL? Which file? Nobody likes playing guessing games.
  25. Side note: Are you aware that donors can be anonymous as well? Hmmm... Don't like the price? Take it up on the NTlite website, not here. After all, Nero has a "free" version, so you would complain *there* about their pricing structure, amirite? Nuhi had absolutely no reason to use MSFN as a starting point, now did he ? nLite and vLite are well-known across the sphere, not just MSFN. Donations (only) for nLite on the web page, pointing to new tool. http://nliteos.com/ vLite now kicks you to the new website. Please note that vLite had some "problems" with SP2 (AFAICR). Note here on (arcive) there's absolutely *NO* "donation" request. (BTW, downloads are still available). http://web.archive.org/web/20140818015927/http://www.vlite.net/index.html Whether NTlite addresses the Vista "problems", I don't know. I have downloaded the (free) Beta and will be trying it out real soon. ( Side note - you may notice there is *no donation* button there either. ) Just consider that everyone has to eat and pay bills. Also bear in mind nuhi was on hiatus "elsewhere" so it should be appreciated that he returned. I believe the pricing structure was already discussed in the now-closed vLite Topic and respectfully request this one also be closed as well. Just my opinion...
