  1. What don't like being called on your bs? Also I see no threat in those posts...
  2. And that's why we take notice when it shows your using warez in other areas.
  3. P.s it is not the only one! Here is a free and fully legal one you build with your own ms source file so it is legal http://www.ubcd4win.com/
  4. It's not censorship and it's defiantly not official or legal...
  5. I think he meant me (wpi) I also don't need his permission to post in this thread.
  6. Yup, I love you too it's just we have a thing called rules here and try to follow laws so we can keep the google ads and not get cease and decist letter from ms
  7. Since win2k went eol awhile ago I'm not surprised really. It officially stopped being supported four years ago
  8. That's a goo thing! Propably the reason my CD is booting now, finally. No, I DID CREATE THEM! Of course! And I don't need to explain why! The fact I did creat them lets you now that there WAS need for them because I decided so. The only important information here for you is: mkisofs provides a switch to follow hardlinks in windows. Hence there is not even a problem anymore - just something to learn. The almost 4GB size is the result of many applications I added to my build. They are all running fine. There is nothing complex about it. My problem is now to choose a proper filesystem. Joliet4 seems to work for installation. However, after setup finishes special characters are displayed wrong on the dvd. Very annoying because of german Umlaute (Ä, Ö and Ü). I can't acces my additional folders now. Mkisofs is from the official homepage. Not my fault it's not newest version. Only strange thing: It still crashes when I run it from drive f:\. Residing on drive C:\ everything works well. Maybe it's really some bug: Drive f:\ is a JBOD-Raid on my PC. @cdob: My decision creating a multiboot-dvd was last minute, when I discovered my nlite-iso is running pretty well. I just added an old version of hiren's boot-CD (small in size, fast linux onboard) to provide a partition-manager and repair-kit. It is working already. Actually I need no help with it. My problem is the final installed XP has problems with some characters. With RockRidge XP's textsetup has trouble reading files. Should I just try Iso-Level3 then? I know some file-names HAVE to be uppercase. Therefore I look for a way to allow both, upper- and lowercase, compatible with textsetup. I took care already keeping iso below 4GB. When setting up a computer someone always needs a partition-manager. Making my dvd multi-bootable would save swapping disks. Since when did msfn start allowing discussion that includes hirens? Even the newest versions are still warez and here he says he's using a old version
  9. Not quite the original scope of this thread but this really caught my eye especially with all the NSA crap going on:
  10. Don't forget organized religion
  11. Thanks for another hate filled post rots
  12. Actually I might try ultramon it supports saving and setting shortcuts so you can save and change all sorts of display settings on the fly
  13. I have run literally dozens of tests, at the very least the edits would not allow wpi to load any file but the config, at the worst it would throw errors on every .js file as it tried to load them. I now also have at least 4 seperate reports confirming this.
  14. Go into installed updates and find the entry for ie9 then you can uninstall and re install it.
  15. Update I found and filed a ripoff report. So that's the only one I have found so far. I'm really tired of shilling like this though I want to take it further.
  16. I bought the $2.99 "Ad-free" version of bejeweled on my phone and was still seeing occasional ads. After a handful of emails this is the last response I received from them: Hello from PopCap, Does anyone have any idea who I can go to about this? It is not ad free as was advertised. God knows how many thousands of $3 they have collected on this false promise.
  17. That does and doesn't work. The main interface works and the entries show but the options and themes are not applied. I get a windowed interface at full screen and the default windows theme. Even going into the windows and resetting them does not work. The fault lies within the edits made to wpi.hta. I have been running tests for 3 weeks on this.
  18. Ok guys I can now fully say that this: script type="text/javascript"> var ver; ver=GetConfigVersion(); while (ver>-1) { if (ver<720) { if (confirm(configFile+"\n\n"+getText(txtUpdateConfig))) { UpdateWizard1(); RefreshWPI(); } else { alert("You should remove config.js from the WPIScripts folder\nbefore continuing. Then run WPI again."); self.close(); } break; } else if (ver<770) { if (confirm(configFile+"\n\n"+getText(txtUpdateConfig2))) { NeedUpdateWizard=2; } break; } else if (ver<800) { break; } else if (ver<870) { if (confirm(configFile+"\n\n"+getText(txtUpdateConfig3))) { UpdateWizard1(); RefreshWPI(); } break; } else break;} document.write('<script type="text/javascript" src="'+configFile+'" application="yes"></' + 'script>');Is causing some very horrendous errors, primarily with WPI setups that are reconfigured on a x64 system. Reverting to the previous code stops the errors.
  19. Marking for looking over and retesting...
  20. WOW thank you, just replying to your post made me think of something!!! There was a simple, innocent change done in the last version that seems to be the root of the issue. WPI.7z Take this file and unzip then replace the existing WPI.hta with this new one. You'll have to reset all of the options files and open then re-save your config. Then all should be golden (It's working for me!)
  21. I'm experiencing the same! With ie11 it will work on both systems. There's something screwing up the encoding on the files that makes wpi work like crap on ie8. I'm testing and trying to fix this.
  22. There are generic install keys that are provided to bypass this issue: Information on this: http://www.askvg.com/fix-windows-8-genuine-product-key-doesnt-work-for-windows-8-1-clean-installation/ generic product key page: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/jj612867.aspx
  23. Looks like he did not get a standard ie installer either, I've seen the ones that are optimized for msn and crap. They are modified installers. Not standard straight from ms
  24. It's my experience that people very rarely donate just to support the project. In ten years of wpi there has been less than 500 bucks of unsolicited donations. Much less then that....
