Kelsenellenelvian replied to hag672's topic in Unattended Windows 7/Server 2008R2
I'm sorry hag, real life has precidence right now. For the record the updates were added with a combination of Wintoolkit and kuc update checker. -
Yes that's why I'm glad I can buy reprints of the Mona Lisa, they're soooooo much better than the original. Plus the new "created" diamonds are so much better than real natural ones. I have one of the rarest snes games released in very good condition and understand the personal satisfaction from simply having it in a case on a shelf. (Plus I played the hell out of it, it was one of the favorite games of my wife and I) For the curious here is a ebay auction for the same game in the condition I have: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Earthbound-Super-Nintendo-SNES-Complete-Box-Inserts-Stickers-/261382330930?pt=Video_Games_Games&hash=item3cdb99da32

I fully agree with you.Lostinspace: I don't have a fancy car but if you whacked my car with your door you'd be paying hundreds for new tires. Attitudes like that is why humanity is going down the drain. Respect your fellow man a bit more.

WPI and batch files

Wpi sets a path variable when it starts and everything is run as a child from wpi so it makes sense that cmd without a path would get messed up -

Ok I got a &5 from bhlpt and there was no fees. Looking here It says under certain conditions money can be sent without charges. I put 50 and it didn't ask for fees I went up to a thousand and it didn't add fees -
Can someone send $5-$10 bucks to kelsenellenelvian @ gmail .com as a gift via paypal? Not through the donation link but as a gift to my name. I want to see if it is true that they don't charge transfer\process fees for gifts.

Ummm uninstall the third party shell manager? I have to go for now but here is the things I would try: http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/299-user-account-control-uac-change-notification-settings.html (Method 1 is the one you want to read about.) Try lowering the uac setting. Also if you select properties from the right click menu the you'll see this: Click on unblock and then apply and try again. (This too can be automated if it works) Good luck. -

No the only way is to wait for it to go final. These releases are technically for testing only. -

Actually you're quite right I missed the project word... I saved your file and without doing anything but double clicking this is what I got: Does your explorer show the files like so: If it doesn't we can REALLY easily fix this. I love most of those quotes -

Pictures are easiest: Choose more reply options (Not the fast reply) look at the right area of the fast reply box. Then follow these. -
What like they changed their mind with the 8.1 start menu?

Can you post a wordpad file for me? (one that is from the old system) Not one that has anything important just attach it to your next post. Edit: This might apply to your issue as well http://www.computing.net/answers/windows-7/trying-to-open-wordpad-files-from-windows-xp-to-windows-7/12884.html OH Edit 2: Has the file been set to read only? -

It always has for me. The way the windows files work is the metadata says that the file was created by another user (You on the XP system) and when you take ownership it tells window you own the file now. Is the wordpad dir the one with wordpad in it or your wordpad documents? -

The reg file will ad them for you. While you could do it manually I don't recommend it, especially with the syntax in that regfile. (the backslashes, commas and quotes don't go plainly into the reg it's they way it's written to add it fully)
