  2. If your cd fails WGA then we cannot help you as that would be considered helping with warez you will have to cantact MS and see about getting a new key (If you were sold an illegal one) or you will have to by a new copy of XP.
  3. http://www.blackviper.com/WinXP/servicecfg.htm don't delete the services, just disable them it is much easier that way to enable one you might need later.
  4. Are you sure your key has not been blacklisted?
  5. What options did you select? Did you try to open the wma file with WMP classic?

  10. Here is a small tutorial on how to add an app to WPI! Ok this is a sample (Very simple) configuration for CCleaner (A.K.A Crap Cleaner) This assumes you have all of the WPI files either in the WPI folder at the root of your Windows cd or all of the WPI folders (Common, Graphics, WPIScripts, Tools, Install and Themes) and the file WPI.hta at the root of your cd. Remember this is just the most basic and required entries for a program! #1 Download the app and place it in the WPI\Install Folder. (CCleaner.exe in this example) #2 Run WPI.hta and click on the "Config" button\Icon area. #3 Choose the button at the very top above the config section that says "Add" #4 Enter in the name section "CCleaner" <--No quotes! Then click on any other section of the config area to activate the rest of the wizard. #5 You will notice the Unique ID section gets automatically configured for you. #6 All apps are selected to be installed by default right from the start so if you don't want it selected by default you must uncheck this box. Also you can decide if you want this app to be a "Forced Install" or not. #7 Choose a category for your app to be displayed in. If you want the app to be displayed in a category you don?t see simply chose other and a box will appear that will allow the entry of you choice. #8 In the Command 1 section click on the little folder icon and browse to the WPI\Install folder and select the CCleaner.exe installer, this will place the full path to the installer in the commandline. #9 Add the necessary switches for the program to run silently i.e. "%wpipath%\Install\CCleaner.exe" /s (This can be easily done for most standard apps by simply clicking on the USSF button on the far right of the commandline.) #10 Select the Save and then the Exit buttons and you have now configured your first app! Afterwards you can use an app like nLite, vLite, CDImageGUI or the Makeiso program included in the tools archive to make your CD w\WPI bootable again. MakeIso.exe = Adds "make bootable iso" to the right click menu of folders. It is a silent installer so DO NOT click on it 50x a simple double click is all that is need to install it. It can be uninstalled from the add\remove programs menu! Just go to the "Source" folder (The one that contains I386 and WPI) and right click then select Make Bootable ISO...
  11. You'll still lose EVERYTHING though SP3 will overwrite the svcpack.ini and the sysoc.ini thus killing all of the programs custom entries. You really can't slipstream on an nLite'd disk and expect it all to work. You will have to install sp3 post install or dig through your closet till you find your original XP CD...
  12. Well see thats the big issue "What can I remove and what can I not remove" without breaking everything? nLite DOES read the inf and copies ONLY the basic needed files, NO uninstall or setup files, most of the cpl's will be skipped. Nlite is really smart about the drivers it will strip out everything not needed. p.s. nLite IS NOT FOR CORPORATE USE!!!
  13. I just tried 4 random themes from the theme page and they all worked fine. Nothing was changed in the theming engine.
  14. The modern harddrive is the main bottleneck of todays computers. They are SLOW compared to all the rest of the hardware. I would go for a couple of 300 gig raptors (10,000 rpm) in raid. The speed increase will be enormous.
  15. Actually wolf has decided to try and best me for the vista theme so I am not even sure if this will be the same theme in the next version So go ahead and use whatever colors are most visible to you and maybe even post your wpi.css for others to use.
  16. SP3 has IE6 in it and therefore would OVERWRITE the IE7 integration. Common cents will tell you that you must do it after sp3.
  17. Sigh,,, You have to have sp1a or higher to INSTALL sp3! You can slipstream a gold copy just fine.

  19. If you mean uninstall the program itself goto programs and features in the control panel. If you mean reverse the changes done to your disk you CANNOT! You HAVE to start over again with your original disk.
  20. Wolf ALWAYS uses Photoshop cs3... I would just use segeo-ui font as that is vistas main font style. as for the raised effect I dunno.
  21. .txt <-- REGULAR TEXT i.e. Entries names. { font-family: SegoeUI; font-weight: bold; color: #FFFFFF; font-size: 8pt; margin-left: 5px; margin-right: 10px; } .gtxt <-- Grayed condition text. { font-family: SegoeUI; font-weight: bold; color: #A0522D; font-size: 8pt; margin-left: 5px; margin-right: 10px; } .ftxt <-- Forced install text. { font-family: SegoeUI; font-weight: bold; color: #FF0000; font-size: 8pt; margin-left: 5px; margin-right: 10px; } .chktxt <-- Checked text. { font-family: SegoeUI; font-weight: bold; color: #EBB313; font-size: 8pt; margin-left: 5px; margin-right: 10px; } .side <-- Left side labels. { font-family: SegoeUI; font-weight: bold; color: #FFFFFF; font-size: 12pt; margin-left: 10px; margin-right: 10px; margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px; }
  22. You need to do what you did in the first place and start with a fresh source.
